When did you last check the oil level? Also, something smells fishy here. Did the dealer say they found a leak? If not, they are trying to say that since

When did you last check the oil level?

Also, something smells fishy here. Did the dealer say they found a leak? If not, they are trying to say that since you last checked your oil level you've burned around 5 quarts of oil - is there any evidence of that (like carbon deposits on the exhaust tips)? Did you notice any smoke out the tailpipe?

I think your dealer is full of shite... Have the car towed to another dealer or an independent mechanic that you trust and have them look at the car.
