Odang! Sorry to hear about the wifey! Gotta ask tho...what EXACTLY was she doing to sprain that back?

It was the stripper pole wasn't it? I told you those things were nothing but trouble. You need to keep that schitt Vanilla man!:icon18:

When you hurt your back it sucks for everybody. Hope she gets better.

happytheman 07-09-2011 07:39 PM

:iagree: in all seriousness tho man, my wife's back ails her regularly, and it sux because it puts her in misery.

Hope she heals soon Ken.

kenchan 07-09-2011 09:01 PM

Lolz :D Thanks guys and thanks for the laugh.

She's resting and moving her legs alittle at a time increasing her movement. Walking will take a few days. She wasn't doing anything different than usual. Just cleaning and organizing the house here and there like any other saturday while I was doing laundry and suddenly boom. I heard her scream so I thought a roach or something fell on her face or something. :D hahaha. Not so easy.

TypeOne... looks great! HDR photos too, am I right?

Whew! I need a nap after only reading your post! Sounds good tho man!

I'm going to have to check out that FK. What can you tell me about the application of the product? Is it ok on rubber and plastic if it gets on there? Have you used it on glass perhaps?

LOL... sorry man, detailing is what I do ;)

FK is ok for everything. If it gets on glass or anything else, just wipe off. I'd still use a dedicated glass cleaner if it's really dirty. FK rocks because it's ultra slick, doesn't streak, leaves a great wet look, smells great, and leaves great protection. I buy it by the gallon!

The camera worked fine this am. :p dropped off my older kid to private school and motored afterwards. Was a great drive. my kid loved the Z too, especially the sound and watching me shift. Was his first time riding shotgun ever! Booster seat worked well...not a perfect fit as the Z's seat has more of a bucket shape, but was solidly planted so no issue.

Yeah a lot of work for the paint, but you know me... it must look perfect.

What happened with your camera?

Thanks dude!

Umm, it's looks a little HDR-ish, but it isn't true HDR.

Don't laugh when I tell you this, but I actually took all of those pics with my iPhone and edited them. I have a Nikon D60 but it's just so much faster to point and shoot them with my phone.

I have a buddy that shoots for a magazine going to take some good pics in a couple of months when my car is more complete. I'm sure I'll whore them out too.

lol

It was intermitteny scrolling uncontrollably. I thought the module died but it was just faulty power supply wire tap. Everything is cool now...

Waiting for the wife to wake up to see if she's well enough for me to take out the Z for 2 hrs... :D

Thanks, yah she's in a lot of pain. Still can't sit upright even; after I made breakfast for everybody went out for a quick spin in my Z. :p other then the f-king redneck that threw out an empty fountain drink cup out his window (mirage or lancer or watever that pos was) at 55mph in front of me which I dodged :D, everything was super smooth. Another reason why I keep a good 3sec distance in front of me. To dodge lancer redneck cups.

RandyD 07-10-2011 11:06 AM

i'm gonna head over to Annapolis for an afternoon near the water...

That would have annoyed the p*ss out of me too. Imagine if that car in front of you swerved to the gravel side of the road. That's rock chip city. Do you have clear bra on yours, Ken?

SPOHN 07-10-2011 12:12 PM

Went and picked up parts to do the throttle body bypass mod. Will be doing tomorrow. I did this on my 350 so I said hell why not do again. It removes several of the heater hoses and aids in ever so slightly cooler intake temps.

Yah, that would suck if he did that. No clearbra on mine. Just the ones I installed along near the bottoms of the rockers. I am finding quite a bit of hits down there especially with the tad more aggressive wheel offsets.

kenchan 07-10-2011 01:07 PM

Spohn- interesting idea. Keep us posted on the pre and post IAT's. :)

Yes, please elaborate on the throttle body bypass mod... what is it, and the benefits please?

SPOHN 07-10-2011 02:58 PM

Here's a link about it. Nothing to really be taken serious. But it does have small benefits that really can't be measured. I believe the plenum I had on my 350 required this. But I can't really recall.

Drove to Cali for the big Fontana Nissan meet. :)

Install Powdercoated Calipers: Success
Install Stainless Brake Lines: Success
Flush/Replace Brake Fluid with ATE Super Blue: Success
Install H&R Spacers: Success
Install Swift Springs: 50% Success, 50% Fail
Got the backs done... piece of cake. The bolts going through the front shock is just not coming off with conventional hand tools. No amount of Liquid Wrench, torch, mallet and big-a** pipe is breaking it loose. Gonna have to go to a garage with my tail between my legs tomorrow. Should be interesting riding with the a** dropped and front at normal height.

Impact wrench, FTW!

Sorry to hear about the defeat, but you accomplished so much otherwise!:icon17:

Can't wait to see pics of the progress after you get the front finished!

Installed SPL rear camber and traction arms.
Will get the alignment done some time this week.

I had to use a two foot breaker bar. Just make sure you use a 6 point socket also.

LunaZ 07-10-2011 05:55 PM

Yep. 6 point socket, breaker bar and and my big-a** pipe usually does the trick, but not this time.

SPOHN 07-10-2011 05:58 PM
