Today USPS is scheduled to deliver my craftssquare so in the am going to go motor my G. :p would suck if I got into an accident before installing onto my Z. :D well, that's not the real reason.... need to get my G some gas after some errands with older kid.

Washing the Z today... Again

got up at 5:45 am, gave her a nice caressing body wash, using 4 separate wash mitts. Amazing Roll Off for rims, tires, and wheel wells, Pinnacle for the wash using 2 grit guards and 2 buckets... then sheeted dry, then blotted dry with Optimum Detailer, then waxed the wheels with Optimum car wax... Now it's already 8 am!!!

will wax her with Pinnacle Sig Series II later on today. Tires will be dressed with Poorboy's Bold n Bright...

What did I do with my Z today? I got warned by a Sacramento Sheriff to slow down.

I was leaving a grocery store parking lot at 730 this morning and apparently was doing so with too much enthusiasm as I turned left onto El Camino Ave. A block and a half later I stopped at a light and saw in my rearview a car approaching hastily. He was back-lit with the sun so I could not make out what type of car it was, but he was going quite fast.

Just as I was thinking "what an a$$", he quickly changed lanes to pull up on my passenger side. I then put two and two together when I saw who he was. My attempts at pleasantries were met with a warning that he could tow my car if I do it again. Geez, I do not think I was going that fast or breaking any laws, necessarily, and there was no one else around except him and me. I was not racing or squealing my tires, just being a bit spirited, I suppose.

I am 50 years old -- being chastised by a 20-something guy and it made me feel like I was 16 years old. What could I do but say "I am sorry sir and I will be more careful.

Washed the Z, them took her to get some gas. $33.00 for less than a 1/2 tank, since that was all I need it.

Did my first oil change at 1000 miles using my new race ramps with Nissan Ester oil.

Pulled the Z out of the garage to get the lawn mower out.. then I pulled it back in the garage after cutting the grass... Great day!

Yep,I'm really impressed with the driveablity,shifts,run great very clean & smooth all the way to redline,runs better than brand new.
the lag is gone the only thing that is alittle weird and takes some time to get use to is the gas pedal moves aloft from no thottle to floored so since there is no lag you just have to get use to the amount of movement in the pedal.

Got it detailed yesterday for a car show today. Detailers left some kind of dried up residue on the interior that I missed but the judge didn't. I missed a trophy by one point.

Took her out for the last time before ZDayZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Took her for a nice ride just to make sure the new oil cooler was good to go, now she is resting till I leave.

Wheel looks good, considering, over the winter i may get them powered coated, i'll keep this one as a spare and put my other one back on the car.

Nice mirriors by the way, they look killer!

Oh and today the wife and i took the car out for a rip to the mountains, with my buddy in his '00 Z28 behind...fun times!

90ST- thanks on the mirror :tup: btw, your wheel was only spot repaired, no painting on the front side? :confused: if so, id use it as my primary wheel. :p
