I get home tomorrow and I have the next 8 days off. The weather will be kinda crappy but as long as there's no snow, I'll be putting some miles on her.

Snow and salt are two TOTALLY different things I would drive in the snow if i didn't know that my car would still be white after a parked it and let it dry lol. I live in Green Bay, if you drive over the I43 bridge in fall you'll see a mountain of salt the size of a larger coal pile next to the power plant and in spring it's "gone." I've driven crappy piles of rust my whole life (almost all rwd) and the Z shall never see that. gotta say it never stopped me in the 88 firechicken with winterforce and 100lbs in the back and while i don't remember that yes i probably did say it or something like it. I did say it isn't snow unless it's more than 6 inches deep.

While checking out my new CAI's, some body pulled over for me so I went WOT listening to a whistle like sucking air sound, I came up on a Prius. I should have slowed down and gotten in line behind it. Instead I just crossed the double yellow line and blew past him/her. I then had a mile of road unto myself. What fun. :driving:

where you going? being OCONUS is where I want to go :(

I dreamt about a Z. I don't have one :ughdance:

Jordo! 03-27-2011 04:48 PM

I patted it on the head and fed it a carrot.

Corona370z 03-27-2011 05:01 PM

Had a leisure Sunday drive. Very relaxing when people around the town turn heads to see my Z.

onzedge 03-27-2011 05:17 PM

My Z got a nice bath and a coat of NXT then a buff. I had to get it in after more than 2 weeks of rain.

I was planning to go to california for 2 weeks :shakes head:

UNKNOWN_370 03-27-2011 06:12 PM

26 hours with my Z. Last night I went to arlington highlands to have some buffalo wings. Today I bought interior cleaner. New car scent air freshener, interior detailer and dog food. I'm so glad the anticipation of when will the perfect deal for a new Z is over. :happydance::driving:

LunaZ 03-27-2011 06:28 PM

Uncovered it and drove the piss out of it on some local twisties.
41° and summer tyres had me driving like Rubens Barrichello on hard compound Pirellis. Well, not quite that bad. I didn't go into the gravel or punt any other drivers off the road.
VDC On.

ZPirate 03-27-2011 07:24 PM

Went for a little drive this afternoon after the roads finally dried.

FromG2Z 03-27-2011 07:26 PM

Went out for an afternoon "errand" drive while the wife and kid were napping. Picked out some nice hot wheels tracks at Toys R Us for the little guy :) Enjoyed the folks looking at the Z, and took the loooong way home.

98intrigue 03-27-2011 09:40 PM

I managed to fit a small TV stand in the trunk...so I drove around with the hatch popped open. It made me slightly wish I had a convertible because the exhaust sound was beautiful! haha

christian370z 03-27-2011 10:12 PM

Washed the Z and decided to go up to the top of campus to take some pictures after hitting up Ralph's, one of my favorites of the shots: (the rest will be in my build thread)

Went to Deals Gap. Unfortunately it was dark and foggy by the time I made it there. Still a very entertaining road. I will be headed back sometime in nicer weather and during the day.

kenchan 03-28-2011 07:00 AM

Car was on the road for a week and got a rock chip on the windshield

Took it this morning for repair, they were able to fill it, looks perfect and since it wasn't a windshield repalcement, its free under my coverage, yay.

Now she's parked untill I finish work and get to drive her again

I got my new front spacers on today. The vibration is gone. Now for some sunny but cold fun.

SPOHN 03-28-2011 01:10 PM

Ordered an Uprev and the upgraded Nissan/ Akebone sport brakes with slotted rotors and Hawks HP plus pads. I have a base model 370. Can't wait to fill up my 19's with these.

Drove her to work today, and enjoyed the newly programmed shift light (to 4200 rpms for break in). Parked her on an end spot and looking at her through the window right now..... longing to drive her in a few hours.

Vegitto-kun 03-28-2011 02:47 PM

gave her a 3 hour wash.

shiny as hell :inoutroflpuke:

pissed because of not going to francorchamps again.

there were helicopters recording the GT-Rs and Zs driving. **** loads of pictures and videos were taken.

FML.

but apparently the GT-R club Benelux are going to do a 24 hour event of some sort.

I am interested in what they are planning to do .:excited:
