I would black out the door handles, tint the rear lights and do something with the headlights to compliment it all. Total Stealth mode.

ive not had the issue on my H&R or Eibach sets but i dont use them on the stock wheels either.

15k miles on both 370Z's with sport wheels and no issues and I wring mine out every chance I get through the canyons. Some of roads are pretty nasty with pot holes.

Redline was not available locally so we each grabbed two quarts of Royale Purple 75W90 which claims to be great with LSD's and is both GL-4 and GL-5 compatible. I'm sure you don't have to change it so early but it's piece of mind.

You can see all the metal shavings and sludge stuck to the magnetic bolt.

That is a lot of sludge in the pic. I hope I do not strike sludge. IIR the FSM has OCI at 35k. RP heard good things about. I am considering Motul Gear 300 75W90, it worked well on my Z33. I am at 33k and will probably swap out gear oil when the oil cooler is installed.

Footloose301 12-03-2011 07:01 AM

It's a 20min job at most. $3.99 for the pump from Harbor Freight and $2.56 per washer at Nissan and you need two of them. Most people are seeing this kind of sludge(or more) with LESS than 10k miles!

Bout to head out and wash my Z. From there I will be hitting up my fav road that runs along the Delaware River on the PA side. Nice and twisty with some elevation changes. Ill be taking my GoPro with me, havent played with it for awhile. Enjoy your day everyone:tup:

Nice! I want to wash my Z badly but it's too windy and would just get dusty within an hour haha.

Can't wait see some of those videos!

LunaZ 12-03-2011 12:26 PM

Sprayed her down at ye olde self service car wash, drove home for a proper drying... That's about it these days.

DLSTR 12-03-2011 01:15 PM

First dealer service yesterday here in Germany. Nissan Ester went in. Next service using the good German Castrol 5-30. Today got a full wash and took care of 1 spot requiring the touchup paint!

Drove around town today running errands, getting her waxed right now and about to put her in winter storage :(

onzedge 12-03-2011 04:16 PM

I did nothing with the Z's today as we were busy posing dogs for our Christmas card -- I know -- lame.

Installed my Stillen Front lip/splitter today :D I went by Lowes and picked up slightly larger self drilling screws and a few bolts. Lets just say that if this thing comes off it is going to take the whole bumper with it!! lol So far a great day

Just got home from my first road trip (700 mile round trip).

Man, this car is a blast to drive on the highway! 26.8 mpg average at speeds up to 85 mph at some points, mostly at 75 mph. Tagged along with an M3, a Mustang GT, and a Camaro all the way from Baton Rouge to Houston.

Finally going in for the Nismo nose job, door handle paint job, spring and spacer install on Thursday. Leaving the car for a week while out of town on business. Can't wait to see it when I get back.

Mr. onzedge - you will have to post the final Christmas card picture when you finish.

KingZee 12-03-2011 07:55 PM

Got the stillen sways installed, stiffest setting in the front, softest setting in the rear. Car feels amazing, so much more responsive.

sfearl1 12-03-2011 07:57 PM

washed it for the first time today. looking for another reason to go drive it right now... "hey babe, you want me to pick up dinner tonight?" haha

Oh yeah, I also had to explain to both of my neighbors why I traded a brand new "Lancer" (2011 Evo) for my Z. They must think we're crazy over here. Between the lady friend and I, we've had 5 different cars parked in our garage in the past 6 months. :ughdance:

bleufiend 12-04-2011 08:50 AM

Ordered two re760 bridgestones to replace my stock rears. Worn out at 15935 miles. I was hoping for a few more miles out of em.

Personally Ill be setting mine up stiffest in the rear softest in the front. I hear this is the best combo in terms of dealing with the 370's understeer.

urdeliveryguy 12-04-2011 10:30 AM

got my first oil change today. and i just got a box from z1 with my fairlady badge and spacers for my winter setup. im gonna get that emblem on there asap
