Thanks Mike. I get a lot of people who love my exhaust.

And that ride you gave me was a blast. With your skill level along with R compound and Stoptech brakes makes for an amazing ride.

Dynamated the trunk area, installed Evor Smoked LED, installed illuminated door sills. Next week time to install the powertrix coilovers and G3 Intake, maybe exhaust if $$$ is available.

Yea yea. I don't have laptop no more. I've been using someone else's. Long story but I've already told you about that. I do have several video to post when I get the chance. Plus I'm at a hotel tonight.

martin82 11-26-2011 08:02 PM

forgot to mention I installed the aluminum pedal clutch and brake into my base/sport. Need to order the accelerator.

I haven't really driven my car much this week but I was able to do a major service on Wednesday at Corner 3 Garage

http://i638.photobucket.com/albums/u.../photo-561.jpg

I had an oil/filter change, diff, coolant, and transmission fluid change so my Z is driving perfectly! :)

I also picked up a set of these

She needs Coils....
I need Exhaust....
I think we got Christmas gifts figured out lol!!

Nice photos, I would sell you my Berks....if I had the $$ for F.I. IIRC Berks are still going for a nickel. Stop buying toys for the camero, the Z is always first.

I always go Mobil 1 for oil/filter, the remaining were all OEM replacements.

Drove around a bit today with some forum members here (Vapiano & b1adesofchaos) to have my Fast Intentions CBE installed as well as a new mid-pipe for Vapiano's GT-R.

Did you install the kickplates and the EvoR light yourself? I just got these parts and was just thinking of having someone install for me.

They are the 18" resonators. Stock cats for now, still undecided if I will go hfc.

Even with Swift drop, I don't foresee any clearance issues. The black front lip and air dams scrape all the time but the exhaust doesn't even though it looks scary in pics. These are the 2nd gen of the F.I. so they are raised slightly compared to the 1st gen.

Day two of my track day. Going good. Two cars spun in front of me. My tires are defiantly my limitation. Need some Hoosiers.

Sounds great! Would like to hear some casual drive by footage though when you get a chance! It seems that everyone posting drive by clips of their exhausts do so at 6k+ RPMs. Since I personally don't spend the majority of my time at 6k+ RPMs, it would be nice to hear some real world representation!

I'm just sayin'! :tiphat:

:iagree: Once my AAM axle back gets here, I plan on doing a before and after video with cruising at 25, 45, and 70. You hardly ever see video of people cruising, it's alway WOT or sitting there revving.

Alchemy 11-27-2011 02:12 PM

On a random side note, Im seriously tempted to buy a GTM supercharger kit. Im really trying to convince myself to spend the $$$. Also trying to convince myself that I can handle the install. Do I sacrifice a big chunk of my big lump mortgage payment this year for a SC? Ugh decisions, decisions. Sorry just thinking out loud.

Any reviews on this stuff? A good carwash without using and wasting a lot of water sounds like a good deal.

yah, it's an effective system. just be smart not to drag grit across the paint (use clean towel and make only one pass). been using it lately on my dd. no swirls or haze. :)

Happy - once you get comfortable using the stuff, I think you'll love it. Remember to wipe in one direction, and as soon as you see dirt on the towel, change to a clean part of the towel. I've never used more than two towels to "wash" the car.

I do the roof, hood, and trunk first, then move to the upper part of the doors and fenders next, followed by the nose and tail. The last part I wipe down is the lower sides of the car.

For my wheels, I'll cheat and use a clean damp wash rag, rinsing it out with water after each wheel - the fronts being the dirtiest.

I'll then follow that up with a wipe down with Griot's Spray-on Wax, including the rims.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Just finished up my two track day. At the end of the last session had an issue. It's transmission related. Going to dealer tomorrow.

details?

SPOHN 11-27-2011 04:48 PM

I have a thread started in the drivetrain section. This is a hole lot worse than just one gear. It might be the syncro's but it would have to be in every gear.
