on days where it is nice out, an outdoor lift is freakin sweet

Drove over to the bowling alley for a company function, where i proceeded to bowl the best games ever. Bowled 7 games with the first being 14x, steadily went up until I capped it off with a 238 (with an uncounted strike in the 10th due to a foul) in my 7th game :D

Installed H&R springs on today, finally! :yum:
http://i1092.photobucket.com/albums/...an/photo-1.jpg
This picture is about 1 hour after finishing the install.. Hoping it'll settle a little bit lower

onzedge 12-08-2011 07:52 AM

That looks great, 370SteeZ. Drive it around a bit and the springs will settle in. Nice job.

Footloose301 12-08-2011 08:18 AM

Looks good on those springs. I scrape everywhere on swifts, I couldn't imagine those. Thats like a 1/2" lower than mine

I thought I was going to scrape everywhere on the Swifts also but I have not scraped yet after about a month of driving. Maybe it is due to me being much more cognizant of dips and bumps.

Footloose301 12-08-2011 08:43 AM

Just getting in and out of driveways and parking lots is the worst.

I bottomed out on a speedbump so hard yesterday I thought I broke the car in half.

Footloose301 12-08-2011 09:04 AM

That too. There's speed bumps in my community.

kenchan 12-08-2011 02:21 PM

Thanks! I've driven around, maybe 20 miles or so. They've settled just a little bit.

Thanks! I went driving through a few steep driveways & what-nots, but the only thing that scrapes in the front under chin spoiler  Other than that, I like the stance so far.

Of course as Im about to pop on the PWJDM shift knob I discover this one, WC Lathe Werks | Truly Unique Shift-Knobs, Proudly Hand-Crafted in The USA!
I have been wanting a ball style knob but most that I see would fit like poop up to the boot. This has the niced flared bottom to make it fit right. Only thing turing me off is I wish it weighed more...decisions, decisions.

I'd wait for the PWJDM one if I were you. It's almost the same design at half the price. Just my :twocents:

kenchan 12-08-2011 07:05 PM

kenchan 12-08-2011 07:24 PM

You know, with my OCD I would probably have done the same thing. Just that thought in the back of your head that you know it will fail eventually lol.

Exactly. :) and even if someone made a bypass module the work will be the same minus the security feature.

I got pulled over in my Z today. And I got a ticket in my Z today :shakes head:

:icon18: I know... something about teal minivans going 10 under the speed limit in the fast lane really gets my engine revving!

(I got a ticket for 4mph over btw :shakes head:)

brucelidat 12-08-2011 08:10 PM

Wow, in my book anything within 10 over is fine and legal. That cop must have had a ticket quota he was close to missing.

Skeeterbop 12-08-2011 08:13 PM

wow that sucks.I found out that in texas 1-5mph over is $140, while 6-10mph over is only 10 bucks more (which is what i got). My question is why, if your going to speed, would you want to go 1-5mph over when the fee only increases 10 bucks from there for going 10 over? Not directed at you sfearl1, just wondering out loud.

Yeah, I guess so. I still have temp tags from TN on it and one of his questions was "when did you buy this THING?"

What really boiled my blood was the hick in a lifted pickup rolled by lol'ing out his window. Did I mention I love the area I live in (or next to).

That's what I thought. The only reason I was "speeding" was to overtake the minivan in my lane who was driving waaaay under the posted limit. Came up over a hill and the cop was passing in the opposite lane - I guess with his radar on??

Absolutley ridiculous. Its messed up that cops come out in droves during the holidays to ruin peoples lives. I have been seeing 10x more cops than usual on my daily routes since turkey day. 4mph over, that pisses me off. I can imagine how you feel.:shakes head:
