It helps having a master tech for a son too, http://www.the370z.com/members/onzed...ft-install.jpg |

Looking good mr.onzedge. I envy the wall mount spring compressor and master tech hook up. :D I only have a regular spring compressor.

I drove over to Forged Performance for their open house and BBQ watched some dyno pulls and the new Lexus LFA on the dyno was very cool but had to leave early b/c they don't have a big parking lot and people were getting blocked in so I left.

mr.onzedge- congrats! looks good. :D are you running spacers now too? :)
i swapped out my G's SSR's to factory wheels with snow tires (LM60's). went from flush to wow, where the hell did the wheels go? look. :D hahaha. but with only 225/245 i dont want to use spacers as it will look rediculous from the back. i can't believe how sunken in the factory wheels were on the G... :icon17: last time i used these was a very long time ago so forgot how the car looked. washed the SSR's, polymer sealed them, stacked them up. :p |

Looking forward to your photos from the DSLR. |
Nice photo. Need to be measuring from the ground up. Btw: the rear passenger side looks higher. It's normal until the springs settle. I can ride co pilot for about 500 miles and with my big phat arse sitting in the passenger seat it will drop soon enough. :tiphat:
That driveway looks steep, hope you made it out un scathed. Yes, it's nice to have two master mechanic sons under the same roof. I would have thrown in pizza and beer. So how did your alignment numbers come out? Quote:

Changed transmission oil with Red Line MT-85 at 10k miles. What a BIG difference! The Z feels much lighter. Definitely recommended to those who cares.

Looking at buying a lip kit. Tired of looking at the stock lines. Especially the lower half. I feel it needs to be squared off

As promised, pics from the Dallas (actually in plano) cars and coffee on 11/5/11. It's hosted by Classic BMW the first saturday of every month. I worked a double on friday that ended at 2:30am, went to sleep around 3-3:30, woke up at 6am, met with a local Nismo 370 at starbucks at 6:45, left for the show and got there at 7:20 (like 30 minutes before sunrise) and there were already tons of cars. After the show I managed to get an hour of sleep before my 4:30pm-2:30am shift, and now here I am finishing this up so I can finally catch some ZZZZZZ's.
#1 I figured there was no way this guy would let me up here to take photos on this lookout deck but I got lucky. First off I would just like to say that there is major distortion in these photos, some to the point were the horizon is curved pretty bad, because I was using my fisheye lens since I broke my wide angle recently. Here is the first angle showing the North East corner of the lot http://images.us.viewbook.com/4130f5...85b7_large.jpg #2 North West corner http://images.us.viewbook.com/daccef...7f4c_large.jpg #3 South East corner. Had to shoot into the sun on this one. http://images.us.viewbook.com/0e6886...f366_large.jpg #4 And finally the South West corner. http://images.us.viewbook.com/e33683...881b_large.jpg #5 And these last 2 photos are of the Z getting some attention after people started clearing out http://images.us.viewbook.com/8d7fe8...3b52_large.jpg #6 http://images.us.viewbook.com/306e62...63e1_large.jpg Enjoy guys! |
Nice picts

Nice pics Dallaz, looks like a great turn out. I actually had a VW dune buggy exactally like the one in the bottom right corner of the first pic. It wasnt nearly as nice though. Wish I still had it now that I have a bit more $$$. I owned it when I was younger. Would have loved to restore it.

Looking for a good gear oil to change out the diff. Heard a lot good things about Motul. |
Red Line FTW!!!

I washed my Z yesterday and now it's raining :(
Normally after I wash it I let the wheels dry and I leave my cover half on :icon17: http://i638.photobucket.com/albums/u...photo-1873.jpg |
^ what canards are those?
|
Waizz - that doesn't fly off with the wind? :icon17:
Motored my Z this am and QD'ed afterwards. Was a great am. :p also fixed 2 switch guts going to my garage/utility room. On the garage side I bought a illuminated switch so that I can tell after I lock the door from the garage side if I turned the light off in the utility room or not. :D. With short memory these days I tend to have to unlock the door to visually check. Now I don't have to. |

We had about 12 Z's, a 1600 Roadster, and a 2000 Roadster in the "Z area" yesterday. Tons of interest in the two Roadsters. If you have a chance to get out to a local Cars and Coffee, I'd highly recommend it. I just wish Dallas and Houston picked different weekends. I'd love to ride up to Plano and see the cars there. |

BTW - thank you for posting the pictures. Usually someone from or group posts pictures on the Club's Facebook page a few days after the event. When they come up, I'll post the link. Here's a link to some pictures from our October car show: http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http...KS1U5ZUwC2x3Iw |
