Javo I think your going to like the 7speed. There is even a very cheap and easy mod you can do. Yes I've done it to mine. It shortens the throw on the paddles. Your little brother should be :excited: Is the 350 stock? DL looking sharpe. You might have to get out on the fast road and enjoy your work.

jboffill 09-24-2011 10:50 AM

The 350z has minor mods on it nothing major. He is 19 and this is going to be his nice car other than that 1999 volvo he has that is a tank. I still want to come up with some rules & regulations for him if he wnats to keep this car. He is going to UGA and if he does not do good and i dont see those report at the end of the semester, im going to take it from him. I hope he know im not playing around. I am still going to be paying for his inssurance and some gas. Other than that he has no other expence.

But i am interesting in the little mod for the paddle shifter. Could you elaborate?:happydance:

:iagree: looks great!

last night installed my 5mm spacers and SR48 lugs. Looks great. The lugs are narrower barrel so easier to reach (17mm socket vs the Titeks which are 19mm). My weds have a very deep concave and wall next to the lug bores. Even took the Z out for a quick test drive last night. :p. Was fantastic.

This am was pretty boring driving my Fit to drop off the kid to school. Needed the oil temps high to do an oil change basically. Afterwards went recycling the oil and bought 2 cans of brakcleaner for a great deal. :p. Came home cleaned the interior and glass on the Fit, washed the car. Also polished out some scratches on the rear door... looks like a shopping cart nailed it. Who cares. LOL. Now finally relaxing.... got a buttload of chores to do in the pm... :crying: :D haha

Fire 09-24-2011 12:25 PM

Yup Javo have to lay down the law. I think he would rather drive a 350 than a volvo. LOL I know I would. The mod is installing small bumpers on the backside of the paddle where it comes out behind the steering wheel.
http://www.the370z.com/exterior-inte...-mod-ever.html
I bought mine at Wal-Mart, they are about 1/4" and flat on top, clear rubber bumpers. Just pull paddle in like you are shifting and put on the back side. Let go and do the other. Have the car off when doing this and then test to make sure to paddles are not too close and activating the shifter when released. I had no issues. :ughdance: Kewl swifts foot. Ken you didn't take pics? LOL are you OK? Would the lugs work for stock wheels? Are they chrome or black?:tiphat:

That sounds like a productive day so far. My 370 will get her first oil change with ENEOS (first using ENEOS) this afternoon. I need to figure out where to drive first to get it all warm and toasty.

I almost forgot.... Good Saturday to you, Mr. Kenchan :hello:

Kenchan you have a full sched! Next up are the new winter tires for the upcoming season. German law makes em mandatory. I ordered Blizzaks. Should be ok.

Ah, the good old Italian tune up. Drive the snot out of the car before an oil change!

Happy Sat, Mr.onzedge. I've seen eneos at some speed shop but never tried it. Any differnet vs the other oils you've tried? :) got done another set of chores and taking a break. Doesn't look like I can squeeze the motoring in today. Need to take the kids to the stores when the older kid comes back from school today. Maybe tomorrow.....

Blizzaks sounds good. :) I'm picking up the LM60's in a few days. Which reminds me.... I need to bring the G35C's factory wheels out of storage..

Just got rid of my Mitsu Eclipse. I basically traded it for some mods in the future. I traded it to a custom shop in Buffalo. It was a little too rice for me. I did not do the mods. Here's a couple pics:

Mandingo 09-24-2011 06:08 PM

Washed :D and tried to polish out a light door ding :(

Then drove around for a half hour just to do one simple errand 3 blocks from my house

Neither of those cars were there when I parked but the Z appears to be magnetic
