Nissan 370Z Forum

Anyone go from a Corvette to a 370??

Be prepared to give up a ton of carrying capacity. But also be prepared for something that's much better-built than a 10-yr old Vette.

I had a couple of C6s, everyone was bulletproof for the most part. I just bought a 370Z. You are right about giving up space. The C6 Z06 is closer to 5 year old design. I am not sure about better built yet, too soon to tell. When was the last time you drove a C6? I will say the 2008 and newer C6s are a lot nicer inside and out. Performance wise a Z in any configuration is not even in the same ball park as a stock C6 w/ Z51 in terms of performance. The Z06 is in a different universe.

So far the Z seems to be more nimble and a little more confidence inspiring. Both car are really exceptional performance values but at very different price points and very different cars. No regrets about either.

Which Z did you get? Is this your only car?

Base with Sport Z, it's not my only car. I have a C6, Mini Cooper S, Miata, and a old Wrangler. All are fun but in different ways.
