Thanks! I've made a note of your reply.
AND I agree... those are the 3 critical items to know.

To be honest, when I am testing the CAN bus/Bluetooth gauges, I find it very reassuring that my oil pressure is more than the minimum spec at 80C/176F... and even at 92C/198F

Tire pressure and temp - the book says the system will tell the driver when tire pressure is unacceptably low. It would be nice to know ahead of time. Tire temps, mostly for those who track.

Actual tire pressure is no problem.... but the tire (air) temp is not available with the factory sensors. (from what I have seen)

However, for those that track, I think real time tire surface temperature at the left, middle and right side of each tire (with data logging) would be informative.

I will add these to the list. The IR (infra-red) tire temps will take a bit of time to develop a low cost easy to use sytsem. (aka wireless)

Thanks for the input!
Just to clarify... you want to know the surface temperature of the road/track?
I can do that with an IR temp sensor... The same sensor I use to get tire surface temps.

Also since I am from the Great White North (Toronto) I don't understand "water temperature" since that stuff freezes solid. I assume you mean engine coolant temp
