Nismo Concept at SEMA Clubsport23.

The 57CRs are available in 19-inch sizes... and Rays makes plenty of wheels that can be ran without spacers. I guess it really depends on which model you're wanting.

Wonder what that build will cost if Nissan ever produces it...

Since it has "Nismo" written all over it, It'll be more than it's worth.

Frankly, I don't see what all the hub-bub is about this car. So what, they threw a stock 3.0L TT motor in it. There's plenty of 3.7L TT 370's running around, as well as RB26 swaps, 2JZ swaps, and LSx swaps in the 370. Anybody who can measure, cut and weld can throw in their very own 3.0L TT motor and run it with a stock Infiniti ECU or better yet, a stand alone system, and most likely for a lot less $$$.

95% of the parts on that car are already available in the aftermarket and at a lesser costs since they DON'T have "Nismo" badging slapped all over them. New, soon to be released Nismo brake pads? Big whoop. There's plenty of quality aftermarket pads out there for this car already.

In doing that particular motor swap, they dropped the front shock tower brace, but I suppose they regain some of that rigidity by adding the roll cage, though not all the way up front where it once was, and where it's probably needed, or else Nissan wouldn't have put one there to begin with.

Yeah, I don't see anything special about this car at all. It's actually rather bland. If Nissan/Nismo wanted to make a statement, they should have dropped in a stock but de-tuned GT-R motor. Direct fit with very little modification, still TT, and larger displacement than that new 3.0L, and it keeps inline with the 370's own name, as in a 3.7L (well, 3.8L for the GT-R variant). But still, the same 3.7L motor for all practical purposes.

I don't get where they're saying that this SEMA 370 is the "ultimate track car". It's not. It just has all of the go-fast parts already installed from the factory. It doesn't make it any more track oriented than any other modded 370 out there who's goal is for use on the track.

Personally, and I think I'm talking for quite a few of you here, I'd rather keep what I have over this SEMA 370. At least mine has my DNA in it, it's parts and mods I chose that I know, and know work well together, and reflex a bit of who I am. It's not put together with a "me too" kit that everyone can buy and put on... "Hey, I just bought and installed the SEMA Nismo 3.0L TT kit for my Z! Yeah, me too!".

Okay, that's it for my little rant.

If it's the same as the 57CRs, then the offsets are either +12 or +22 in the 18x10.5, however since these are flow-formed (based off the display posted) they may be able to offer them in various offsets similar to Forgestar.

I want to put that motor in my PowerWagon. Then call it HellaphantWagon. 426ci+supercharger=1,000HP, plus boat load of torque.

? ,,,as you know the factory would never put a larger displacement TT engine in a Z car-than what’s in Godzilla!

I think you missed the point. Nissan was looking for what kind of reaction they would get to understand what the market wanted. Back in the day, the 300zxtt was top dog in the USA. The R32 GTR was in Japan. The 300zxtt was beautiful and the GTR was just an ugly duckling. They both had about the same power. Not sure why the Z platform can't be close to on par with the GTR at a better price.

I don't think I did. Besides, all Nissan has to do to look for reactions is go online and read what people are saying, even before this SEMA version came out. There's numerous threads and sites all over the web for the past 5+ years saying exactly what everyone wants from Nissan with future Z's. That's a MUCH larger base than just the crowd at the SEMA show. Plus, people online tend to be a lot more brutally honest than they are face to face with someone.

If Nissan wants to know exactly where they stand and in what direction they need to go with the next Z, all they have to do is browse the internet for a few days.
