It would of looked better if he kept the hood bare carbon and get rid of the those hideous yellow wheels, pin stripes hood scoops and painted the middle part of the rear bumper black or bare carbon. lambo doors and gross yellow interior then the car would look awesome lol

One thing is comforting, if I do close the deal I got lots of help here fixing "what's wrong with it".

Turns out that I AM a newbie. Both as a forum member AND as a Z'er.

I had the good fortune of someone more knowledgeable about Z's, as well as knowing me well enough to predict that I'd not be happy with this showcar.

To keep it shorter, he asked which of three purposes I had for acquiring it?

1. Investment
2. Rare day drive just to enjoy the outrageousness.
3. As a car. Eventually racking up thousands of miles.

I didn't even hesitate and said "come on, you know me. I ONLY want it for driving the hell out of it. I didn't realize how much fun my Z was going to be. I've already, in just a couple of months had to eat crow with my kids because I'm driving it every other day."
(When dad came home with the Roadster top-down recently, it was the first time my kids had EVER seen their dad, me, in a car. Ever)

He replied "I thought so, just making sure".

He then explained what Amuse is.

Yea, I didn't know. As I said, I'm a newbie.
I don't want to offend anyone who has modified their cars or trucks with this kind of stuff, but I'll not do it. I'm too hard on my machines (motorcycles, trucks, tractors) for fiberglass and products that don't fair well with gravel, dirt, and muddy roads. Just to get to the barn (garage) I must traverse a good 1/4 mile of all 3. My new little Roadster has me crawling speed as it is to get to and from storing it safely at night.

Or put it another way, he simply wanted me to know that in his opinion there may well be a very nice almost undriven 2012 370Z buried inside that showpiece, but that showpiece will very likely not wear well for my admitted intentions.

I imagine all you guys already knew and thought of these things. So again, I appreciate the mercy I obviously got. Lol

Still, sure is a crazy wild intoxicating car, to me. Didn't realize it was a nicely painted kit car. (fiberglass & plastic) I'm not careful enough to take the care it would require and deserves.

I need good Ole metal and rubber.

To the fella selling his white Z in Florida.....(silly rabbit)
You're right. If I actually wanted a second Z, your car is a far better candidate. All OEM quality bodywork.
