As long as your car was run up to the break-in point on the original oil, what kind of oil you run afterwards should not impact the seals or anything else. Since you don't have any leaks that was obviously done. The original oil will swell up the seals and what is done is done no matter what you do after. My two cents from my 96 year old mechanic dad... lol

Hate to tell you this. From the factory. There is no longer break in oils. It's all synthetic. Vettes and Vipers come with Mobil 1. And it does not swell up the seals.

True but we’re talking about the Z here, it doesn’t come with synthetic oil from the factory.

What do you think is in the Z. Ester oil, which is a synthetic base oil that has been chemically synthesized. And you pay over $20.00 a quart at the dealer for it.

All vehicles leaving the factory has synthetic oil in them. It's all about fuel mileage. And that's why you see cars with 0w20 oil instead of 10w30 now. I gave the Vette and Viper as examples. The Hellcat and Demon come with Pennzoil synthetic.
