I run my A/C 100% of the time, with the interior recirculate button selected.
This filters out the smelly exhaust from running test pipes, very very well. Smell is almost not noticeable at all with this method. |

On 90% of the time for me. Gotta say, it's a great A/C. My old 04 G35 coupe which I had for 8 years, A/C was as cold the day I sold it versus day 1. Never did anything to it except, change the in cabin filter on a few occasions.

I hate the thought of performance (power) going down with the AC on. But with the SoCal weather soring up to 100 recently, it's currently on.
Out of the year, I'd say the AC is on maybe 25% of the time. |

I am a window-down guy. Not a friend of dried air.
Normally only use A/C at speeds above 60mph or below 5mph. ![]() I don't think I can feel much of a power-loss in the Z. Never in a way as the EcoBoost Focus. I have to try to fan-only method though! |

Everyday; windows up & A/C on recirculating.

I use it rarely. don't really have to that much. setting the temp even with the ac or heater off the cabin temp seems to mysteriously raise or lower just a bit to get closer to the temp specified. but I will also run it twice a month in winter like you should or it may one day not work.
