Their egos seem to have grown with the facebook groups throwing their names out like they are the only company that sells products for the Z. Barely a mention for ZSpeed, CJM, RJM, ConceptZ, SOHO, etc.

FB groups are all "Z1 is the greatest ever! Dat Tomei dah! I just dropped my instagram handle. Follow me and I'll follow youuu!!!"

I'll take blame for the Tomei crap. As soon as people heard the Z33 version I had on my car, everyone wanted it.

I actually just bought a Tomei from them. But it’s because my exhaust weighs over 9000 lbs and my tuner said I could pick up more tq and hp with a single exit

Kudos to them
.. but it really shouldn't take a customer(s) complaints to provide good service. Preventing fires always beats putting them out

BettyZ 07-12-2019 05:50 PM

Idk.. you know what they say: a pound of pure is a helluva lot more fun than an ounce of prevention...

When I did my oil change last weekend, discovered that my splashguard was being held on by only 3 fasteners and the 3 plastic push clips.. Ordered a set of fasteners, delivered next day. Guess what Im gonna do with my Z today?

Baron, when you post youtube links, just paste the stuff after the https://youtube.com.

ie: (YOUTUBE]CFGS3xeOFQg[/YOUTUBE) ... I replaced the open/closed brackets with parenthesis so that the html doesnt kick in....

Yep. But I really need to watch what I spend right now. Major changes in my bread and butter client might end soon.

So after literally 4 days... i had a just shy of 20l/100km mileage. Mind you i had to drive about an hour downtown toronto in stop and go along queen st.

It burbles. It pops. When people see the carbon mufflers their eyes light up. Its starting to break in and sound so much nicer.

-ZS-Carpenter 07-13-2019 03:44 PM

Fresh oil and a little clutch pedal adjustment. Had to bring the top switch down a bit and might have to bring the engagement up. Clutch is broke in now and I'm not hitting 2nd as fast as i want. 3rd is perfect but going to need a bit of tuning to get it just right.

Off for a test :driving:

abm89 07-13-2019 04:34 PM

Finding random places and things to do to break in the clutch. Making mental notes to slip the clutch every shift and don't rev-match.

Such a hard thing to do. I found that reversing is a pain in the ***, so I'll try to avoid that as much as possible.

I haven’t, but I will provide a dyno with my gthaus set up vs my Tomei/Thai Titanium set up. I will tell you they are LIGHT, and the welds are good quality too.

Installed the Sprint Booster V3 I got yesterday. Super easy and really makes a difference in the throttle response. I like it!

Currently loving the ART pipe + Shockwave combo. Even more so that the seller (SupraKirk) included O2 extensions which = No CEL!

Now to save up for the EcuTek tune.

And still have to replace the damn busted diff bushing.

DeliriousClam 07-15-2019 03:16 PM

Just finished putting the splitter on. The front now sits level with the side blades

What splitter did you go with?
I need one to compliment my skirts as well.

My next order will be here next week (just a extended lug stud tool)
And we will see exactly what they did.

But they were quick to respond, explain, and offer viable solutions to my issues.
I’m satisfied and will order from them again.

Got my package from Z1 yesterday,
Had the part I ordered, the emblem they promised me plus an extra in a different finish. A butt load of stickers and decals, Z1, Z1 Motorsports, Z Dino, in different colors etc... a Z1 koozie, and a Z1 keychain/bottle opener.

Pretty nice of them, not going to lie.
Hopefully I’ll get to install my extended lugs and Tomei this weekend.

At Firestone getting an alignment. Literally standing in the window watching them work and making sure they know I'm watching.

Alignment specs. They said they fixed the steering wheel angle in the comp but now I have to turn the wheel a bit right to stay straight. Looks like I'll be removing the steering wheel and adjusting that...https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...1d7e870246.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...222744d3d7.jpg

That is because the rear toe is not right. Green don't mean good. LMAO. The toe in needs to be set dang near the same on left and right. Try again. Tell them to set the toe in the rear and front dead middle of spec.
