Drove MZ DAIZY to the doctor today. Apparently kicking a shovel head and Driving a manual in Atl. Traffic has torn up my knee.

If you aren't going to do it yourself, I guess I would check out Custom Sounds. Just read reviews and know what you want before going in. The guys who did the Tint in my Honda (Sunbuster's tint) do audio installs. They did have to re-do the tint on my window due to some lint, but it wasn't a hassle to get that corrected. Audio either works or it doesn't.

Side note: I found that replacing the head-unit greatly improved the sound of the base model speakers. But that's all subjective.

Finally finished sanding my used SPL rear camber arms and gave them a nice coat of Rustoleum automotive primer. Will post pics in three days when primer cures and I put on the final coat.

Oh, and pulled the trigger on SPL rear mid-links. Add those to my Eibach sways and SPL F/R end links, traction, camber, and front upper control arms, and I can safely say my suspension mods are finally complete. :driving:

You're not done. You still need the front lower bushings, the rear sub-frame bushings the rear upper control arm bushings, the rear knuckle bushings, and the diff bushings.

Car sits low on coilovers and I do not have a low profile jack, only a regular three ton. So today I made some make shift wooden plank "stair" ramps to get some clearance off the ground. They worked like a charm! Jack fits directly under the front of the car and I can jack it from the centre point. MUAHAHAHAH. Oh, while the car was on that slant life, I took off the side skirt, had enough of them. Funny how stock can look sexy.

BettyZ 09-28-2019 11:23 PM

Ordered Swift springs for the rear since the stock Nismo springs are far, far too large for the SPL rear mid-links.

Installed both belt mouldings on the doors. It was a 10 minute.

That's what I did. I am too cheap to buy race ramps. LOL I made front and rear ones.

Sweet. What is the drop on the Swifts in the rear and front?

Honestly it makes sense to do so if you have the time. I wonder what the weight ratings are on the home made wooden ramps? I still use a jack and jack stands of course in conjunction with them.

Only bought rears to fit the SPL rear mid-links. No drop, car is already low enough that I cringe going over roadkill lol.

Tried to reinstall the aimgain splitter and everything went to hell. The old rivnuts pushed through the skirt so I had to take off the oem skirt to remove the old ones and install new ones. Turned into a several hour ordeal as I had to hunt down larger bolts too. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...177b153ea4.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...84949a42e6.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...6756d166b8.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...72dbac7930.jpg

Group buy for the Suckerpunch oil pump. Get in line if you want one. The more people we get, the better price we can get.

That's a serious upgrade.

In other news, I realized I haven't changed the oil in 5 months, so that's going to happen Friday.

BettyZ 10-04-2019 12:17 PM

Swift springs don't come with stickers. Is nothing sacred?
