|
Must be nice to work at Seibon.. apparently they had all of last week off. Still waiting for word on my hood. Been two weeks and getting a bit ridiculous for an item I was told was in stock.

Drove over my Carbon Signal front lip... :driving:
I'd like to thank Carolina Collision for their superb mounting skills courtesty of a few pieces of 2-sided tape and plastic screws on the OEM bumper lip  |
CMAK and clutch kit dropped off at Winding Road. Now I just wait!
Edit: they're replacing the rear main seal while everything is open. 120K maintenance stuff. |

This pic shows the dirtiest these wheels will ever get in the next 2 years! http://i67.tinypic.com/zjjpqu.jpg |
Dropped it off over a week ago to get a bumper fitted and painted. Still waiting to hear back about when it'll be done...

All of these posts relating to issues with body work is precisely why i don't care if my car looks like it's been thru a battle. There's always something with these shops or parts manufactures when it comes to body work.
Except for Aeromotions and Verus Engineering. Ya'll are legit AF. |

Big oof. That looks worse than the one that was up for sale that someone had backed into a little while ago.

Here is a nice shot of my first 370Z (40th Anniversary) from 7 years ago...

Installed... the mechanic was commenting on how well the welds were done and how well made it is. Then installed and tightened down the bolts for a perfect fit.
The carbon cans are sweet too. Oh man so happy. Now time to drive |
Sent Z1 a nasty email. Yay me.

Signature required. They did not notify me. So now I have to wait 3 days for them to pretend they’re attempting to deliver. Then leave work early without pay, bother a friend with a truck, and drive 45 minutes one way to pick it up. And hope they didn’t close the store early and leave randomly like they often do, otherwise I have to do it all over again. |

I bought CF hood from another company.Took 4 months to get hood and it was also damaged. They custom make hoods so would have to wait another 4 months. I fixed hood myself so I could use it.Took two solid weeks to fix.I was just starting to experiment with CF. |

Filled out a damage sheet on the spot. Manufactory worked out a deal with me for cost of damage. I do not know if they got something from the carrier. |

Hood was cracked in the middle and one corner was broken off. This is a personal opinion on ascetics.A lot of people leave CF hoods unpainted. Shows I bought expensive hood. Will gray over time. I like the look better showing some CF or painted. |

Got the car back! Now it's time to break in the clutch. It feels SO different with the CMAK. The clutch is actually super light and I can feel the pucks when they hit the flywheel lol.
WR did some extra work under the car making sure it's put together right. New Transmission fluid in there too. They opted for MT-90, Which feels smooth right now so we shall see how that goes. I usually use 85, but I know some on the forums prefer 90. |
The MT-90 should give you a slightly longer change interval since it holds up to the heat a little better. Both are good fluids :driving:

Taking her to work today. Yeepeee!

Z1 contacted me back twice on the matter. They pretty much bent over backwards for me it seems. My next order will be here next week (just a extended lug stud tool) And we will see exactly what they did. But they were quick to respond, explain, and offer viable solutions to my issues. I’m satisfied and will order from them again. |
