Zoom Engineering Monaco 240 mirror in action for the first time. At first I thought it was far too wide (it still kinda is) but I am loving anti-glare tint and no longer having a massive rear spoiler-induced blind spot.

And if you couldn't tell from the pic, I really, really miss the 350Z's minute/second timer.

Had a similar incident in my front yard several years ago. Woman in a SUV crossed the center line, well off the road, went down through a couple rows of trees lining a very old roadbed before taking a sharp turn back toward the road and became stuck between a few trees. Off-duty cop coming the other direction witnessed it and got there shortly before we did. When we got there, she was still hitting the accelerator trying to drive out of it and he was reaching in to kill the ignition. The words of the first responding cop were, "How in the hell did this happen?"

She apparently had had a seizure and was released to her husband who showed up a half-hour later. Cops were totally unconcerned about her continuing to drive subsequently. I sometimes wonder how often I have passed her on the road since then

SPDKING 06-15-2019 10:25 PM

Almost had it

So last weekend I did the fronts for my brand new Annex Suspension coilovers. Now this weekend I tried to install the rears. Passenger side went smooth as butter, I always make sure to blast all the bolts and nuts a day before to soak so they are easy to take off the next day.

However, the driverside bolt holding the damper will not come loose for anything. I tried a flamethrower, PB blaster multiple times, breaker bar, impact gun, and those sockets used to remove striped nuts and bolts

Here is the end result of my rage and agony

Most responsive for best price on the market. Gets real bright at night so I bough some gray plastic sheets that theatre guys like EW put over the theater spotlights, then cut multiple pieces to fit over the LED display.

I honestly dont know how I drove a car without one of these.

I had a professor in college that had that condition where he would doze off occasionally for up to ten seconds at a time, then wake up as if nothing happened. He would be in front of the class writing on the chalk board, stop, his head would droop down to his chest, then wake up and continue to write on the board, and giving his lecture.

I saw him driving around a few times. :driving::ugh2::eek:

Came in yesterday and I am digging the fit.

My mats have started to pull-up and deform upon entry/exit and I figured I would switch them out to something more durable during the daily (especially with Florida's wet summers).

That looks very well made. I'll have to look into these whenever i get new seats and clean up the interior.

Cheaper buy in than WeatherTech and a better look, IMO.

Video will be difficult as car is in garage up on the quickjack for some work.. but I'd be happy to walk you though some things. Two additional items you should buy if you intend to hardwire the device is a a fuse tap, and this: (couldn't figure out the link, paste name into amazon) Pruveeo Hard Wire Kit for Dash Cam, Mini USB Port, 12V to 5V, DC 12V - 30V Car Charger Cable Kit, or something similar to it. If you don't step down the voltage from the fusebox to the HUD, it'll burn it out. I just measured out an acceptable length of wiring from the hardwire kit, snipped it, and spliced.

Let me know if you have questions.

Plasti-dipped the inside of the driver door prior to applying CCF soundproofing - otherwise it won't adhere. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...99e7918da8.jpg

Take the nut off on the other side. The bolt head makes it more difficult because it has to spin inside the shock also.

:icon14: OMG that is nuts! I did manage to get it off with soaking in PB blaster, smacking it with a rubber mallet, a nut extractor socket and good ole bicep, shoulder and leg strength to get it off. That bolt is screwed though, had to order a new one because I didn't want to run the risk of putting the old one back on just to drive around with my new coilovers. I got rear camber arms and and lockout bolts coming anyways today.

I began the process today of removing all the previous stereo install to get it ready for a fresh install of new gear. I also got rid of the blank switches near the cup-holder and replaced that part with one of the 3D-printed 'cubbies' you can buy from eBay. Cheap little mod, but I like it.

...the stereo though...that's going to be an adventure.

Got in my car to go to work and the car won't turn over. Radio and whatnot comes on and you can hear the alternator but it never turns on. Tried the fobgina and tried another set of keys that wasn't the issue.

I'm worried that the radio and electronics work which leads me to believe it may not be the battery. Unless there isn't enough battery to start the car. Also the brake is locked and won't depress.

It'll be interesting to push my car out of the one car garage and up a slight incline that way I can jump it...

How can you hear the alternator, when it's not spinning? You might be hearing the fuel pump prime.

How many volts is showing on the gauge?

A little less than 12v on ACC

Brakes are "locked" bc the engine isnt running. If your power is fine and your car sounds like that when you attempt to start, the starter is dead. I wouldn't jump it unless you're going to a mechanic - unless you're sure you can get a jump at wherever you're trying to go

Just over 12

Also what is this for? It sits on top of the battery. Searching the FCC says vehicle tracking and if it's not there by Nissan it will be removed. I bought it used and I believe a company was using it as a fleet car for their employees if I remember the carfax correctly.
