Rear rotors and pads over the weekend. Centric rotors had a bad hole pattern on one of them so now I'm waiting on a replacement.
Cudos to Tirerack  for not giving me any grief with the replacement. This post would be different if they had. |

nothing. too much snow and ice on the roads.

Picked up a set of Z1 slotted and drilled rotors from johnnydrama here on the forum and got them installed this past weekend. Will go with new pads soon. Stocks are on close to 39k miles.
Still haven't gotten to the 5" Motordyne tip install yet. And I noticed my RE760s in the rear are ready to be replaced soon. |
I rolled the car back. It's in the garage for winter storage. Checked the tire pressure as well. Nothing to exciting.

Yesterday I had the h-pipe on mt CBE replaced with an X-pipe. I made a quick video of the new sound. I couldn't be happier with the sound.
For some reason the embedded video isn't working here is the link https://youtu.be/vJJLLBZX1IM |

Nom nom!
http://www.the370z.com/members/trees...9-vqvortex.jpg I had a "pickle jar" incident when trying to remove my old one. I couldn't get the wheel to come loose to save me, so I went to O'reilly's and bought a cheap steering wheel puller. I got in the car after I returned home and the wheel basically fell into my hands. I guess the cold weather relaxed the metal. I felt kind of stupid. Thanks Hidalgo. Love the wheel. |

My biased vote would be for the Aeromotions wing as you can get it in different heights, and it has a clean look to it: https://i.imgur.com/JvvjJQSl.jpg Front splitter is off in this picture as it was getting repaired (don't judge me!) https://imgur.com/whdI07al.jpg |

The one thing I wans't expecting is how much quieter it made the exhaust. |
It's a custom-made one my friend and I spent time on back in 2015, then we eventually trimmed it back due it being over kill. It was about 4 inches extended from the already lipped Stillen bumper, but now its about 2 and some change inches. It's an aluminum sheet that is cut into more of a "half splitter" (meaning it only goes on the underside of the bumper, not the full under-tray). The rods are connected to the factory crash bar, so while it's not perfect, it is more than safe and not coming off at speed. I plan on getting the honeycomb carbon and cutting out a revised design that will replace the tray and have a service port. The dive planes were more of a joke as I took My friend's daughter's scissors and free-handed the template out of cardboard.
those no longer exist as i totally F-ed them up pulling into the garage one day. https://imgur.com/bHxi5esl.jpg Side profile to show the short length https://imgur.com/DynJvpMl.jpg Side note, I hate installing vinyl. Easily the most frustrating install i've done on the car. |

It's a good addon if you have the split-style cat back or single (Motordyne, Fast Intentions, HKS, Tomei) because you do not get air trapped in that area behind the rear bumper cover. The company is now Verus Engineering, and it should be noted, I had to do some modification to get that to fit my Motordyne exhaust (3 inch piping). If you have the cross style exhaust like the Invidia Gemini, or Amuse R1, I don't see it making substantial improvements. |
