Let it cool off and did some 5th gear pull tests. Well guess i dhould let the gf learn now and then get a new clutch lol

Oops. I did that once, well, not quite as bad, but I slipped it too much trying to act mad and spin the tires a bit... turns out I didn't. One time isn't going to hurt it much, unless it's for a long time.

Hahaha.

Thanks!

I'm already looking at wheels for it and I really shouldn't be. I don't think I'm the common sense... lol.

Actually common sense is to buy parts. Its not like we getting a benz lexus or some sort of a luxury sport zedan

OEM Rays?

If so, it's too bad you're not closer. I need to get rid of mine. The rears don't have tires, since one decided to pick up a lot of metal. Only flaws is a rock ding or two on one of the spokes.

Yep, Phoenix.

I don't even know how much shipping would be on them, seems scary, lol.

Also, these are the '13 Rays, not sure if that would make a difference.

What tires? Better be decent and pretty new for that price. Seen some pretty good sets go for cheaper.

I've got a set (09-12) you can get for way cheaper plus local with no shipping. Front Michelin AS/3s are in good shape but rears are about done. Wheels definitely will need some help but I'm not looking to get rich here.

Got my SPL arms in today. Had a set of faulty arms from Z1 and they were happy to take them back. I went ahead and got what I was originally planning on getting. I took it as a sign to just buy them. Get credited for the Z1 arms once they get them back, which makes sense.

shame on you, sir! I dont have time to do most of my own work, nowadays. So I go to my friends shop and I pay to get the work done. Only way it will happen lately...the past 4-5 years or so.

Before you install them. Take all the threaded parts apart. Coat the all the threads with anti-seize, then put them back together. You will thank me years down the road. ;)

What did I do with my Z today?...

I drove the PISS out of it!

Haboob 07-09-2018 10:45 AM

Started selling some things left over from the Z that I can't re-use.

So far only sold the ProClip mount.

Still gotta sell the Blendmount, Berk exhaust, OEM '13 Ray's, and the sunshade.

Drove the car for the first time since November today... Woo Hoo...

Because of some certain events haven't driven the car for awhile, swapped out the Nismo fascia's yesterday and drove up to the GF's yesterday. Did a detail today and realized just how much I do like this car. Here some pics...

Someone's offering me $500 + shipping for my Berk HFC/CBE combo. I posted it asking for $750 + shipping, but damn... I don't even know how to go about finding out how to ship that.

Probably custom boxes, the weight. Probably gonna be an arm and a leg to ship...?

I made my box to ship my Nismo exhaust years ago. I shipped it by way of Grey Hound to keep the cost down.

My wife and I just returned home from a 14 day, 2957 mile road trip in our 2010 Roadster. The route was through Glacier/Waterton Parks, on to Alberta Hwy 40 (a “do not miss”) the TransCan to Vancouver, up the Sunshine Coast, down the coast of Vancouver Island, Victoria, Anacortes, west coast of Washington, up the Columbia, over Lolo Pass and Home. Road notes: no more than 200 miles with the top up, 25 mpg average, plenty of room for 2 bags and 1 camera backpack, one hour at a Laundramat to wash clothes. 5 ferries, 2 countries. Back to work next week. We’re already planning our next trip.

abm89 07-13-2018 08:58 PM

I tightened my sway bar endlinks AGAIN, and decided I'm not going to bust my *** to remove the other dive plane (broke the driver side one on the garage) and wash the car for C&C tomorrow... Just to go stare at some parked cars while baking in the COTA parking lot with no shade

M310? What offsets?

I want something in a 30-33 offset in the front but apparently doesn't clear Akebono brakes. I am stock height, but don't like poke (+20/+22 pokes out).

Agreed to sell my sport wheels and tires. Hoping that having to put the car up on jack stands will incentivize me to install mods that have been sitting in my garage for years along with some recent acquisitions.

SPL FUCAs, 2-piece front rotors, brake ducts, and oil cooler are the main ones. Pioneer nav/dvd headunit, speakers, mirrors and a few other odds and ends as well.
