If only I didn't own a Z already. Yours basically fits my mods list. Looks so good btw.

I decided to stack my gauges instead of having them side by side. Before and after pics.

Definitely. I've bought a lot of things from Tony over the years.
He's definitely upping his game compared to the one that I have from a few years ago.

It's been pretty cool to see his quality and creativity increase over the years.

Ergonomically, this is by far the most comfortable steering wheel I've ever had.

Cut/ripped/tore that thing out. Replaced it with the z1 urethane bushing. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...55a387fb39.jpg

Well its not much, but installed hood struts. Not a fan of prop rods.

The wire clip (holds the ball in the socket) on the drivers side fender took twice as long as the entire rest of the job combined. The plastic fender cover gets in the way of inserting the clip easily.

Finally got around to changing the cabin filter in hopes of helping out the allergies a bit...

For those of you that have not changed it, this was mine after 4 years, and it was garaged the entire time period:

Did mine twice. First time shop took it out and said so... yea you might want to switch it. Looked new compared to yours now that i think back lol

Leingod 06-04-2018 07:11 AM

cotton candy :yum:

JARblue 06-04-2018 11:34 AM

In six years and 100K miles of daily driving I've changed my cabin air filter three times. This includes regular visits to construction sites, gravel back roads and park dirt roads. Like someone else mentioned, mine looked new upon removal compared to those :icon14:

csnow 06-05-2018 06:46 AM

Is that home insulation on the cabin filter?

I change my cabin filters on my cars religiously every six months and they are always discolored but never any debris like that.

burntz 06-05-2018 07:40 AM

he just forgot to mention he also de-linted his belly button

madwi 06-05-2018 08:10 AM

That insulation looks like a nice mouse house.

That's exactly what I was wondering...

HEK 06-06-2018 01:32 AM

I just ordered a filter since nobody seems to have it on hand not even the dealer which is charging over $32 and I ordered it from Advance Auto for $19...so tomorrow to unscrew the glove compartment...yahhoo :driving:

Tchristie24 06-07-2018 04:58 PM

I pulled my steering wheel lock fuse today. I am applying to dental school soon so the Z was my first patient lol. My buddy asked me what I was doing and my response was “pulling a rotten tooth!”

VileKnight 06-08-2018 08:21 AM

Finally opened her up on the road last night after work, and I was not disappointed. Couldn't go too nuts or anything, but it was enough to turn a few heads.

Restored headlights with Armor All restore wipes. They worked like a champ and headlights look like new. Process took about 30 minutes to do both.

Attempted to clay front bumper to remove bugs left from previous owner. After an hour of work it did minimal improvement. Will have body shop go at it best they can and let it go, Elsa.

Bought some Continental all seasons to replace my P-Zeros (which were beyond smoked). Might pop them on this weekend if I get tired of fly-fishing, but that's extremely unlikely to happen.

HEK 06-08-2018 01:45 PM

changed the cabin filter and for those of you who really do things in real time, it's a PITA as removing the glove compartment look easy until you get to the last screw and drop it on the back of the pocket which now you will need to remove it again, so and FYI, when putting back the glove compartment there is the screw that sits way in back, get that one one first it will save you time and aggravation :driving:... lol I woild like tp do a Youtube video as is no editing and hear all my swears but I would not get a single subscriber :shakes head:

abm89 06-08-2018 01:51 PM

I plan on doing another cleaning of the throttle-bodies, upper and lower manifold and replacing the gaskets for said parts. I already drained my catch-cans and changed the oil last weekend.

that is if i wake up early enough so it's not hot outside.

yes, sir, the problem is the screws and how when you don't line them up correctly fall and you don't see it on a youtube video, IMO it's an edit that they should have left it to prove that it's not as simple :driving:

I need to invest in magnetic tools/ screwdrivers, having a broken thumb and Pinkie doesn't help, but in general, it was worth changing the filter as it looked pretty dirty

“Installed” recently purchased (new to me) Nismo mats and the cargo cover.

Cargo cover is a great accessory and I wish it was a standard feature/accessory and I wish it came standard with the vehicle.
