Started mocking up some ducting to the intercooler. The front crash bar blocks ~30% of the intercooler surface area though. I’m thinking of drilling some holes in it to get some airflow through. Anyone else do this?

I would like to do this because i cannot find the OEM part number for the plastic guides on either side of the crash bar. Unless someone knows that part number...

I took a stab at re-clearing the carbon lip. it's old and beat up, but the fact that its Top Secret meant it is worth the effort of making it look better. I'll cut and polish tomorrow with a 1step and see if it's halfway decent. I didn't want to spend too much time on it.

I need to re-adjust the rear sway bar endlinks, get some new rear summer tires + alignment, and change the gear oil. all in due time i guess.

Tires arrived today. I have some days scheduled for a road-force tire balance and an alignment to take some camber out. I'm still runing a "track biased" setup and it's no bueno for wet traction on a poorly draining highway.

I let a friend know about the deal and he was able to get a full set for his 1LE Camaro.

For the first time since the installation of carbon fenders, I took pictures of my Z.
I'm glad to see the fitment of the nismo fenders flare with the carbon fenders doesn't look off, it looks awesome and gives an even wider feel to the fenders.

Thinking about some MX72 pads from RHDJapan. The Yen is so weak, even with more expensive shipping fee, final cost is much cheaper than I’ve seen from US based vendor.

And good coilovers like Aragosta Type S and Ohlins DFV are sub $2k.

The weak Yen has me going crazy with my Kawasaki lol. I have a Yamamoto exhaust being made right now.

speaking of intrusive thoughts, i pulled the trigger on some headlights. Hopefully I like them. I'm not worried about the install. I wired in a Haltech dash, i can wire some damn headlights.

I picked up a Z1 strut brace while I was at it. the steep discount and the ability to adjust dampening without smashing my hand seemed worth it enough.

I did clear coat the Top Secret lip and it looks MUCH better. it's not perfect but a major improvement, so ill take that as a win. Ill be cleaning my air filters when i have the bumper off this time and mounting the fog/driving lights further forward.

Tore down the front of the engine on my Z 2 weekends ago to address an oil leak caused by a cracked rear timing cover, took my time and made sure all seals were replaced and accounted for and that I upgraded the bolts and gaskets on the oil gallery along with dabbing all the upgraded screws with blue lock tite, unfortunately one of the wires for a connector on the ac compressor decided to disintegrate so have to fix the connector and get that connected back up before summer gets here, but otherwise she’s back up and running and acting as if nothing happened
