Did some suspension work over the past couple of weekends. Powertrix coilovers, Hotchkiss front bar w/ SPL links, FUCAs, camber bars, and toe bolts. Topped it off with a new set of Forgestars.

Really happy so far, but I’ll probably end up talking myself into a set of mid links before too long. Adjusting toe with the eccentrics is a pain in the ***.

Sorry for the late response (I was traveling), but I'm approximately 45 minutes north of Little Rock.

Almost finished. I ordered a bracket for the IC7, as I found a way to use the steering column to mount the dash safely. The custom one I printed won't work with the view i have from my seating position. The fuel level, signals, hi beam, and parking brake indicators all are functional, so I can legally run this as my primary dash in Texas based on inspection laws. Now to eat something and then put the car back together.

I double checked my voltage parameters for the zeitronix ethanol reading, but it still says 50% with out the pull-up resistor enabled, and 55% with the resistor enabled. Probably just shitty ethanol in Austin.

Remember, in many states no the just call it flex fuel. I think has to be a minimum of 50 or 55%. The deal is you never know what you are going to get.

Yup. That's one of the reason I haven't even considered switching over. I know guys that have never seen over 70% here in town. Ethanol content is low in Texas in general thanks to O&G.

Yeah, that's probably what it is. I'm irked at the fact that they advertise it as E85. I'm pretty sure you cant have anything below E70 at the pump if you advertise it as 85, but I'm not an expert in that area.

Here's a quick video of the temporary zip tie mount haha:

The cord sticking up is the usb cable to access the dash. I still need to fine tune some sensitivity settings for the ambient light sensor and the fuel level signal. I took a right turn at speed and it definitely gave me the low fuel warning lmaoooo

In So Cal the ethanol pumps actually have stickers on them that tell you what the minimum ethanol content is. There's a station within a mile from me but the sticker on their pumps state minimum 55% so you never know what you're going to get. There's a Propel station about 5 miles away and the sticker says minimum 72%. I usually see 82 to 83% on my gauge from Propel.

Nice, AZ and NV you never know so I just pay extra to get e85 or more. The exception is when I do go to Cali I will bring a few vp cans and buy at a station that will have close to e85.

Well this week, I get to play chicken with my newly wired up dash. I now have a percentage for fuel left instead of dots, so i'm wondering how low i let it go before i put 93 in. I may just be paranoid and fill up my VP tank with 93 and drive around until the car dies lol.

Edit: 2 dots is 1/8 ish so ill try filling up at 10%

Seat belt wasn't retracting so dealer replaced both buckle and tension, citing 'internal malfunction on both.'

R1talin 10-05-2021 04:06 PM

Installed 34row oil cooler………the temp drop is silly….. i almost don’t believe science :)

I’ve been having the same issue lately. Was this covered under warranty?

Yes. Nissan has a separate warranty for seatbelts. 10 years, no mileage concern.

Sweet. Thanks for the information.

Washed the Mountain Lion guts off the front of MZ DAIZY. Working on the dashcam video...

Short story is I hit it on the rebound and the clear wrap did it’s job.

Mine is way out of warranty then lol, of course the only problem with mine is it needs a deeper cleaning than I can give it to get that slipperiness of the seatbelt surface back…. Pretty sure the lady who owned the car before me wore a ton of makeup cause I know for sure it was ingrained in the steering wheel so just logical to conclude it’s on the seatbelt as well…that and just years of dirt and grime

Mine has one as well but no TT kit. Just the cat back and RHFC, but it's still a cool upgrade!

Front bumpers coming off is a good time to go TT ;)

Jokes aside, sorry that happened.

A couple of years ago I pulled up behind a conversion van at a stoplight. He starts backing up to clear the crosswalk, as someone in a wheelchair was waiting to cross the street. I'm laying on the horn, but he never hears me. I took my foot off the brake, so he pushed me back more than crashed into me. Damage was mostly a bent front license plate and frame. Guy says he never saw me (tall van vs. short roadster). Glad I thought to release the brakes after seeing your damage. Sorry you got nailed. It sucks:shakes head:
