If you can change your oil, you can handle doing a brake job and save serious jack. YouTube is full of examples on how to DIY. |

Need to blackout that windshield washer fluid tank. Seeing that blue in there just takes away from the effect. Nice work BTW.

Washed and waxed the Z yesterday and guess what... Lawn mowed at work. Probably have grass clippings all over it now.

actually yesterday, took a nice long drive to check out a 2016 mustang gt premium with 1600 miles on it. perfect. looks like we'll now have 2 cars in the household that will suck in the winter.

So this is what I did in the last 2 months. I think the pics explain it well. The last pic I added sequential/switchback led tubes. I have a clip on my instagram page if you want to see them in action.

Looks great dc. Nice work. I kinda think those door handles in gold would really complete the theme.

Until today I hadn't driven my car in a month. It's been an ordeal.
5 weekends ago I decided to put my OEM oil cooler back in. I took it out back in January and temps have been fine until summer really set in. I had to drop the gigantic GTM oil pan to get the hardlines back in... had a mishap, and ended up breaking a piece of the pan's flange off. http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1506484840 I compounded the problem by getting impatient and trying to JB Weld it back together instead of waiting until Monday to have it welded up.... the glue didn't hold. Took me two weeks to source a new pan... Jason at Inland Motorsports came though and found one for me.. But by this time Irma was on her way to FL and, being in Flood Zone A, we were under mandatory evacuation. Had to reassemble the car with the broken pan just to limp to the airport parking garage to keep her safe. Got back into town, got the new pan a week later. Finally found some time this past weekend to start working on it again and finished it up tonight. Feels great to be driving the Z again instead of my beater Ranger. Installed an Eibach front sway bar while I was down there... also replaced my Escort MAX360 with the new Uniden R3. Looking forward to the range! Oh - a quick test in temperature difference with the OEM oil cooler: Before: Cruising at 95mph, 87 degrees outside - 260 degrees (steady state) After: Cruising at 95mph, 83 degrees outside - 227ish degrees (steady state) Anyone interested in a slightly broken, baffle-less GTM high capacity oil pan? |

GOT IT! EASY! |
I'm still on the hunt for a shop that will swap out my final gearing that's within like an hour and a half of where I live.
Only place I found so far is AAM but they're 3 hours away... |
