FWIW, I was offered $22.5 and $23.5 respectively at a Honda Dealer and a Buick/GMC dealer in our area a couple months ago for a trade-in. My Z is a 2014 PW automatic base with 5K miles. Decided to pass on both offers only because we decided to not trade at the time.

Both offers were on the high side of the KBB trade-in estimate via their website.

I paid $29K new in early 2014. I really didn't think the offers were all that bad.

Your offers are 3-4K higher than what I'm getting ... and you have a lower spec car ... interesting

I agree. I was surprised at the two offers I received. I was expecting something in the high teens. Also, in both cases, the Honda and Buick/GMC dealers were both giving decent discounts on the two vehicles we were interested in. In the end, we decided to hang on to the Z for another year.

The market for Zs is always soft. The higher the trim the worse the depreciation too. Chop 10,000 off a nismo the moment you drive it off the lot.
