Why do I want to sell my car?

The thing I find interesting is porsche is not mentioned much in the comparisons.

Finally someone said it.
For me it’s 370z(NEW) or Cayman S(used).

Pricing most likely. I compared the two and a nicely equipped S is ~20k more than the Z or so... for pretty much the same performance.

I did find a used S for ~39k that I was considering, but at the end of the day I liked the Z more.

No, the new / 09+ (DI 320hp) Cayman S is in another league compared to the Z in both performance and feel. The new Cayman S competes better with the E92 M3. The Z is a good bang for you buck but don't kid yourself.

I was considering a Cayman S but then I decided the maintenance bill would be too rich for me.

I don't know about everybody else, but I could never see myself in a car that has an a-hole reputation. That's right...I'm talkin' about you, Caravan owners!

But... I can honestly say i've owned every car you could want. An m3, m6, sl550, rovers, f360 spider, 996 turbo and yes a z06 (not to mention about 10 others or so)

out of all my cars i can only tell you two i really couldnt stand, the m6 as it felt huge and not fun and yes the vette. It felt really big, front was just too long and its hard to get comfortable on tight roads as you just can't see much of the car when driving. The turbo was one of my favorite cars but i lost my *** when i sold it and the ferrari is too rich for me. I sold all my street bikes to get it only to find that the maintenance is absolutely disgusting....still paying for that damn car and its been nearly a year.

Why the z...parts are somewhat reasonable and i dont feel bad pulling it apart. Vette's are cool yes but my neighbors zr1 has 650+ hp and i can tell you right now it doesnt handle as good as my z. Get another z and make it your own!!!!

My 2 cents

ps. I lost 18k on that damn vette and barely drove it.

I'm thinking of getting rid of the Z and getting back into an S2000cr or 2007 gpw/red S2000. I miss the s2000 all the time , and realy miss the convertable!

I wouldn't compare the Z with the Cayman S. Maybe the regular Cayman. The maintenance will be high on any Porsche compared to the Z.
