Look, I am not trolling. I have had the z before but used it in city traffic and short trips. About 20 plus years ago, I took a trip from New York to San Francisco in a Honda Prelude (1997) driving on Highway 94 and through upper Michigan and parallel to the Canadian
border. Now that I am retired, I plan on taking one last long trip similar to that one but hitting places where I have lived...(Oneonta, NY, Ann Arbor, MI, Rapid City, SD, Los Alamos, NM, Fresno and San Bernardino, Ca. Taking the northern route (before it gets too cold) and returning via the Southern route, visiting friends in Tucson, AZ. On a recent trip to Tunica, MS fron Nashville, I hit 115, cruised for short stretches at 90. I was wondering how the Z would handle high speed for a longer period, say an hour or two. Also, I tried the paddle shifters and sometimes, Not realizing I had it in manual, I took of from traffic light and did not notice that I had gone to 5000 RPM before hearing the Engine over the music. I normally shift at 3k and wondered if shifting at higher RPM hurts the car. Sorry if Zi upset some of you. |
