Damaging a Z..

Would these hurt your 370z?

1. Jack rabbit starts...shooting out from traffic lights or stops.

2. Changing gears at high revolutions (over 5k)

3. Cruising or driving fast for 100 miles at speeds never lower than 90 or higher than 115 for 100 miles of an empty highway perhaps once each week.

Kept within reason, none of those should do any damage beyond a little extra wear and tear. You will have to change your clutch, tires, brake pads, &c more often than some other people. Of course, if you are dumping the clutch, not rev-matching during shifts, and doing your cruises during 110 degree weather, you're going to break something.

If you're going to be driving the car hard, change fluids often.

Launching cars will always put some kind of stress on parts.

Pretty sure this is a troll attempt...

RonRizz 07-30-2016 05:15 PM

I like to do Jack rabbit starts while Shooting at traffic lights, and always, always go over 100mph after said shooting attempts.

ChopsZ 07-30-2016 05:32 PM

And where in this country can you legally do 90-115 mph for 100 miles on a highway?

What a trolling schmuck.

Route 50

But really what sane person would drive over 90mph for up to 100 miles?

ChaseZ 07-30-2016 06:48 PM

I live my life 100 miles at a time.
