First and foremost mod: learn how to drive her. Know her limits and acclimate as you progress in power.
Before any significant power adder you should probably upgrade the brake pads. Do some research here and come up with a conclusion. There are plenty of threads on this. If you're just going to "pretty her up" with makeup and drive her as a cruiser then it's whatever.
