Update on MY high pitch noise.

thanks for the detail as I wondered about your case. Btw, my understanding was that the Manager at 1000 Nissan had to fight for my new engine. At least that was told to me.

I agree with your route. Go for a full buyback. I read about the California law---do you have to go to arbitration first?

A case would never make it court as it would set a precedence over all other cases. I do not want it to go to court nor do I want it to go to arbitration, I would like Nissan to do the right thing and buy back the car. They know there is a problem and it is an insult to the customer to try and downplay it as a minor annoyance.

But to answer your question I do not know about arbitration. I do know that you can get around the arbitration but I am not an attorney and I'm not interested in that. I do not want damages I just want the car gone.

Dealers have to go through a lot when there is a major component swap such as an engine or transmission. They don't really have to fight per se, but they do have to prove that there is evidence that it was an equipment failure and not abuse.
