Why is the Z slower than comparable cars?

Yeah, I definitely wasn't pushing the car as hard as I could, since I do have to drive it to and from work every day. Only ran it up to about 7k, no redlining. I also don't have very aggressive tires on it (Michelin Pilot A/S 3 - which actually did okay). At any rate, I'm already researching dedicated wheels and tires, and keeping my eye on the classifieds for a Stillen Gen 3 intake...
