Burning plastic...

Might just be a plastic bag that melted to the exhaust.

I was about to mention that. It happened to me a few years ago. I picked up a trash bag from the highway and it melted all the way around the exhaust. As I parked my vehicle in the garage I could smell something odd and not so pleasant.

The very next day I checked underneath and there it was... plastic melted all over the H-pipe area. I just kept driving it until it all burned off.

happened to me too just recently, smelled burning plastic and found out it was a plastic bag
