1. Make sure the AC is off before turning off the engine.

2. The premium fuel is what's recommended for optimal performance.

3. No need to premix any gas. Just fill up with Premium and be on your way.

Please take a few minutes to read the owners manual to familiarize yourself.

Why are you even trying to compare a wankel motor to a piston motor? Read up here on the forum more and follow suit to the tried and true who have been there done that here On mods.
Don't mean to be disrespectful but RX8 ' S and Z are not comparable at all in the engine department.

I don't mean to perpetuate the octane debate, but just an interesting aside.

The KA24DE in the Altima recommends 89 octane. The same engine in the 240sx (same timing and compression) recommends 91/93 octane.

Mine always gets 89 and does fine, but it's an old 90s car not a newer technology packed over-engineered thingie.

No need for oil in the gas for our cars. We have no issues with the rotors getting stuck if the car sits too long. We have no rotors. Set the HVAC and forget it. Why would you not run premium fuel as what is recommended for our vehicle the way it is tuned.

Because we live in A$$ **** fuel state CA. WHY U NO SELL 93 CA?

It's not too big of a deal(evidently) to run 91 10% corn sh1t gas. I run lean on it judging by my tail pipe color, but it does alright. At track I throw 1-2 gallons of 100 in and it does run smoother, I do knock sometimes on 91 at 6K+, usually right after shift.

1) Has been answered before.
2) Read your owners manual it has a lot of good information like what fuel you can use.
3) This is a 4 stroke piston engine that can oil itself properly. Rotary engines cannot oil themselves properly which is why it is beneficial to have a very little 2 stroke oil in the gas.

damnit, i traded my 350Z for a 370Z for this exact reason of feeling like being in civic status with the 350Z and hopefully the 370Z being out of reach for kids
