Not great for air pollution, but think on how it could help on wear and tear.

Think on how it couldn't. Fuel lines are not designed for oil to be pumped through them, much less the other components and fuel injectors. I cannot even believe you are asking this to be quite honest.

TL;DR: It's called a gas tank, not an oil tank.

The auto climate resets after each start. So I was asking for something a little more complex than ( turn it off or WTF )

If you find something more complex, please let me know. I was simply sharing the threads with you since you asked about it.

Not being sarcastic. This bugs the hell out of me too!

2) Yes, your engine ignition timing is advanced in expectation of 93 octane. You can run lower (the CPU will adjust) but you shouldn't.

3) Huh? This is a 4-stroke engine, not a weedwacker. Never put oil in your gas.

i literally laughed out at work and got looks lol

Like I said, I did it on my 2008 RX8, and was wondering if anyone tried it on a Z.

Why don't you try it and let us know since your the first one who gave us the idea that it might also have the same benefit with your RX8.

Just a suggestion to your question #3

Curious about the benefit of adding oil to the gas..... 5oz per tank full (16 gallon tank on rx8) puts you at something like a 500:1 dilution ratio.

Anything with a high compression ratio needs premium fuel. It doesn't have to be a performance car even, dinky little high fuel efficiency turbo equipped cars often require premium fuel despite doing 0-60 slower than a Nissan Altima.

Performance cars just have it doubly bad, they burn more of the stuff and it costs more. But the OP should have done things like factor the cost of fuel / non-rotatable tires on a Z into the initial pre-purchase evaluation. Rather than deciding after the fact that the car's too expensive to operate and cheaping out on fuel.

and just how are you judging "smooth out the motor"? If you can sense it's running rough, you have a bigger problem.

Even though my post is an āss kicker.

Premixing IS a thing on rotaries. My buddy's all do it. BUT their engines also inject a BIT of oil into the combustion chamber to keep the apex seals lubed up
