Lots of manual transmission propaganda in this thread.
I seriously doubt manual hurt would hurt resale value in a sports car, ever. If anything I suspect it would be the opposite, automatic would be hurt more. Mostly due to "I can't believe you bought an automatic sports car" reaction from peers. I learned how to drive on manual and drove them for many years. I drive an automatic now. It's whatever. Manual is fun to drive, there's no denying that. Sometimes it's fun to put two hands on the wheel and just cruise (I would say put 1 hand on the babe, but not sure I'm allowed to say that here). I apologize in advance for destroying any faith in humanity or not burning excess calories while driving.
