Was good, till nissan dropped the 14's.

There was a thread a while ago with everyone yelling about the price and others saying they don't care its fine etc.

Well in July here's a base sport vs today. (Miles increased based off of average 12k a year). $2100's a pretty big loss for only 4 months. Let's hear everyone still thinking its cool!

I am impressed with it's retained value actually. I looked at a 5 year old 2003 350Z in 2007-8 and I could have had it for $9K.

So in year if I sell my over maintained 2010 with sport I might get 23,500 If im lucky. I paid 29,000 with 600 miles 3 yrs ago. I'll live with that and not sweat it. Ive had far worse depreciation scenarios!

Well that's in the eye of the beholder too. I mean who ever pays retail anyways? Even at 22k its still to high when a new 14 can be had for 30k invoice. Selling close to retail will be impossible.

Who's going to pay you retail though? Might want to look at low-mid trade.

The same type buyer who saw my S-model A4 Audi, its condition, records etc and paid me 500 over Blue Book with a very minor test drive.

The dealers said they would have asked a 1000$ more and sat on it lol! I will ask exactly the retail condition it represents and go from there. I didnt buy the car to make money but I will damn sure not give it away either.

My car is essentially 1 owner all records, over serviced etc. You can always pay more and get less. If it has 50,000 miles and is in good condition I will ask that conditions' retail. If its rated better then I would adjust the price accordingly.

Im selling exactly the cars I tend to buy. 1-2 owners, maintained, records and NOT modified. I fix anything that needs attention and service on time if not sooner. The same with my GTi. Ive done this with every car Ive owned.

I sold my 94 Lotus Esprit S4 to a nice gent on sight alone with a records review. He paid me and I taught him a few things about driving it as he left to go home. I had it for sale for 3 months with multiple offers but only 2 folks were serious and only 1 showed up with the money. Thats all it takes. 1.

IF the Z doesnt sell at a fair price, to me, I will happily keep it. Its not a car for everyone as the sales records of this model show. Those who truly want one will pursue it and I happily will sell to them and be reasonable but not desperate LOL!
