I love reviews like this. Simply because I love my car to death, especially for the money and the complaints that are made about this car mainly have to do with multimedia and noise levels.

let them hate the car. It doesn't effect how I feel about it.

If this was someone credible, sure I'd have some hard feelings about the article, but you can tell from the guys writing that he shouldn't even be driving cars, much less reviewing them.
"I'm going to review a sports car, but not take it to the track, instead i'll gripe about the sports car's ride noise." Pfft, gtfo.

This type of reporting is getting more popular. Basically, the writer aims to fire fans up to make their work viral. I mostly see it directed at Apple fans, but it looks like it'll work with car fans too. If it had been another one of the cookie cutter run of the mill reviews we're used to it would have been passed over. However, it was written to bring out negative emotions and get our attention, and it worked!

i thought the part about the headrests was hilarious. personally, i have to really push my head back into the headrest to feel the metal poking through the seat. i have to push hard. i dont feel them at all when im driving...

Ditto, after I read the review I had to leave and sat in my car trying to get it to hit me. I basically slammed my head against it as if I were mad or someone hit me and I felt it finally.

And at the same time he gets a one time hit from me and I will be gone forever now. This happens many times in the computer world, they grab unknown readers who are unaware but they lose the enthusiasts.

Very true, you'd think they would understand the concept of a longterm loyal fan base. Unfortunately, in this "instant gratification" society, they are going for the "one time hit" as you say.

Sounds to me like the author wants a Caddy not a sports car. I'm not sure he knows what a sports car really is.

Agreed - I'm going to coin the phrase "Jerry Springer Reviews". It seems these people lack any real skill in doing a review so they turn into trolls who bring their poking sticks to get the angst of the car's fan base to get attention. By being extreme people come and check it out and can't help but comment on the absurdity of the review. In doing so they create lots of intrest and action in their comments sections. We've seen lots of nit picking and there is nothing unusual about that but this review is absurd.

For the commentators I would seriously like to see these magic cars with their magic engines that are so vastly superior that the 370Z seems like a Hyundai Pony in comparison. I would love to take them out for a test drive because if the 370Z is pathetic in comparison I can only imagine what these other "cars" would be like.....

Don't sweat these reviews. I am a former owner of a E46 BMW M3, modified with CAI, differential, suspension upgrades, wheels etc. I have been very pleased with my recent acquisition of a 370Z. Comparisons so far: 370Z handles very well, It's stance inspires confidence because of reduced body roll compared to the M3 event after upgraded suspensions.

The Z doesn't accelerate as fast as my M3, mostly due to a upgraded differential.

M3 refinement is nice. I like that the 370Z is not attempting to be a luxury sport car.

There have been many complaints about the 370Z exhaust note. First off there are sounds equally pleasurable to a throaty V8. Secondly there were as many complaints about the exhaust sound of M3 as there are about the 370Z, which I like just fine.

Those who have ever owned a BMW knows that it stands for Bring More Wallet. The M3 was an ultimate driving machine. It can keep you driving to the bank. Not a slight just a honest statement of what I learned to live with in order to bask in the "soul" of a German engineered car.

If I were to select between my previous 2003 BMW M3 and the 2009 370Z, I'd choose the Z easily.
