thats odd. i have a nice gouge/scrape in my bumper that is thru all the paint and primer and its black as night.

Hmm... So it's gray? looks like I have to paint it to black. Or plasti dip.

I agree, actually, I remember I plasti dip the bottom part of the bumper and I never taped that center piece and the color matched it anyways

The opening is a matt/semi gloss black finish. This is from the research I did for my conversions
Also there is a paint code listed in the shop manuals that I remember seeing after the fact.

Don't want to open another thread so I will just ask here. When you remove the Nismo front bumper, you take off bolts 1 or bolts 2 or both? In the pic, they(1) look like bolts but on my car they look like clips. Are those clips or bolts?

you can do either but, #1 all the way across is easiest to get it back together. Don't forget the 2 10mm bolts under the fender linerers

Wink

What he said. Remove the flat panel plastic rivets. The rivets under that. The two bolts in the fender corners. Then all of the #1's.

Gotcha! I know the fender side is same as the regular 370z. Just not sure if I need to take off the front diffuser with the bumper by taking of all the #1s or leave the diffuser attached to the undertray by taking off all the #2s. I am going to take off the headlights. So I don't mind if the diffuser is attached to the undertray.

Also, in the pic above that I found on the internet, it looks like #1s are bunch of bolts. But mine are bunch of rivets like the pic below. What's on yours?

#1 should be all bolts and removed to take the bumper off. Don't need to take any of #2 out to remove the bumper, they hold the "diffuser" to the facia
