Hey guys,
I was wondering if anybody happen to know the Pitch/Thread for the Tow Hook for the 370z? The reason I'm asking is because I need to make an extension rod for the Nismo 370z but I don't have the tow hook yet. I know the part that bolts onto the Crash bar is M24x3, but how about the opposing part? This should be a universal standard size right? Is it M18xsomething? Please let me know if you happen to know the answer. ![]() How about the length of thread part? ![]() And one last question, how long should the rod be for a Nismo bumper? ![]() I want to send this part out today so I can get it back before track, please let me know if you happen to know the answer. Thanks again! |

Wow, just bought a used one off the forum classifieds, and didn't even think about the possibility of needing an extension for a Nismo front end. Sure that's necessary? Isn't the stock tow hook in our trunks the same for all models?

For anybody doing this. Make the shaft 2 1/4" longer. Here's a thread I did for mine.

You would want to extend it future mainly because when you actually come to a need for using the tow hook the rope may scrape the top of your center grille opening. The Nismo Nose is relatively longer.

I would think a machinist would be the answer.
Good luck.
