Nismo Tow Hook

I wanted/needed a tow hook for the Nismo. Seeing that nobody sold one FOR the Nismo. I did the next best thing. I bought one for the 370z and modded

Talking Nismo Tow Hook
I wanted/needed a tow hook for the Nismo. Seeing that nobody sold one FOR the Nismo. I did the next best thing. I bought one for the 370z and modded it to fit the Nismo. I got it from these guys. And this is what it looks like installed. Too short.

So I got a local machine shop to make me a longer thread shaft. It's 2 1/4" longer.

Why didn't you have them cut it, add a spacer and reweld it? I'm sure that would be cheaper, and if they can weld worth a damn, it shouldn't be weakened...

whats wrong with the stock one? that flappy one makes me feel like everytime i stop and accelerate, it'll fling and hit the grill..eventually wearing some dents into it. no?

I'm "Ballin".
You can adjust the tension on it with a set screw so that it does flop.

i did something similar with my stillen bracket but had my shop cut it and make it 3-1/4" longer.
