How much attention does your Nismo get?

So I took the Nismo out for a nice weekend drive today. I came up on this POS hatchback looking thing with a fart can on it and he decides he won't let me go past him. Ok.. no problem, I just stay at the same speed, if he has to prove something so be it. But then he slows down and as I'm about to go past him he'll speed up again. We both came up to a stoplight next to each other and he won't even look my way. Of course when the light turned green he had to show off all of his 120HP. I whipped out the Iphone and started taking pictures, lol. He saw what I was doing and finally took off.

Yes it was. But he slowed down right there. He was being stupid on the road that goes past the airport, that long strip of highway.

When I had my regular Z my neighbor never said 2 words to me. It might of been the noise from the exhaust. I live next to him for a year and a half. When I picked up the new Nismo he suddenly turned into chatty kathy.

We are taking a gradual drop from 70 to 55 (maybe 50) and then blam......30 (school zone) and then 35 (speed zone near the hospital). Cops get people almost hourly there.

Well i just got my Nismo on Saturday Feb 9th, went for a drive to do some shopping and the like and I swear I see people starring. I went to the King of Prussia mall where I live and you have to stop your car and let people walk to the other part of the mall. When I was parked I swear almost everyone who passed looked at me and the car. It was awesome.

I go to the KOP mall alot. I know the spot you're talking about, i usually get stopped and tons of people cross in front and look at the car. If you keep driving, there is a 4-story parking garage, i usually park on the top most level which is the safest place to go

I ran into another 2009 PG nismo once at KOP mall, and there is a 2013 black Nismo that is there very frequently i asume the owner works there

They always show a thumbs sign to me especially when I am at the car wash. Feels good! It is something new to the eye especially when most of the vehicles around the are american cars.

So far it has been mostly good. Lots of people pacing me on the freeway to get a look at it, a guy with a camcorder and various comments and questions. I had spoken to my car enthusiast neighbor a while back about being in the market for a new sports car and although he was initially disappointed I didn't go for the pristine Ferrari 348 that was available for around the same price he was surprised how good looking the Nismo was and understood the value in the 100K mile warranty!

I had an old man with handicap plates from Texas try to side swipe me today. I guess a red light means something different to him in Texas I thought I was going to have to beat down an old man today

I just had a really nice lookin M3 pull up to me on the freeway trying to get me to race. I just shook my head and hand no. I'm not much of a BMW fan but that looked really clean.

Oh, almost forgot.... today at the carwash a guy cleaning his Integra came over and starting talking about the Nismo. He really liked it. He was going on about how he used to own a 240 with some RB engine swap or something along those lines and how it could keep up with a Z06, until 5th and 6th gear so he says.. Lol IDK about that, but anyways...

His wife was sitting in the car and he says to me "my wife said to tell you awesome car! She said she seen you a couple days ago driving around and that your exhaust was so loud it scared the sh!t out of her when you passed by". I just started laughing. I told him, "yep, that was probably me".

RB26DETT swap? Yeah, if he did it right he could certainly keep up with a Z06. Then again, any car can be done that way. The engine he was talking about likely was the one they put in the Skyline GT-R's. Shoulda asked him for pics. ;-)
