Idk....This can be argued by both model owners until the end of time... it is totally subjective.... but I think that they tried too hard to make the Nismo pick up on the GTR characteristics with the make over. From the rear it doesn’t look anything different from a Sports model with the rear spoiler unless u really take a hard look

I will give the interior to the 15 and up Nismo though...hands down...Again totally subjective...

AGREE. It is totally subjective, but I look to the +15 Nismos and I cannot stop seeing a simple benchmark of other Nismos models (which is not bad at all) like the Juke Nismo, Micra Nismo or Leaf Nismo. In my opinion, with the '14 model Nissan tried to level up the 370z with the '14 GTR Nismo (which is great). In contrast the +15 Nismos have been levelled down with the rest of those models.

Again, it is totallly subjective. I love my '14 despite it doesn't have those lovely Recaro seats.

outside of exterior mods, the 09-14 Nismos barely added anything over the normal Z. If you don't want the kit, there's no reason to get a Nismo since you're gonna replace damn near anything anyways

The 15+ Recaros alone are a bigger difference over the base, you can't get the recaros without Nismo

Used to be Base+Sport Nismo.....

Now it's 15+ Nismo 14 Nismo 09-13 Nismo....

Putting down others to elevate oneself's purchase....is that necessary?

I suggest to just celebrate how competent the base car is.

i dont really care what anyone bought

i'm just pointing out the reality of the situation. Prior nismos were mainly exterior packages. at least the current one has recaros

but whatever you want, just dont lie to yourself about what each trim is

To be fair the older nismo's still had nismo specific seats, the recaro's are just a bit more unique. One could argue the newer nismo has a less unique exterior with the removal of the 09-14 nismo wing being replaced with a sport spoiler, and with the front fascia shared with a damn sentra nismo.

Disclaimer: Not claiming any year(s) are better than others, it is very subjective.

Agreed it’s subjective but the Nismo Sentra is the best Nismo ever! Until the Nismo leaf released then that trumps all. I hope Nissan would do a Nismo Quest, that for sure going to be extra special. Recaros for everyone!

what's the plan? I like the color, it's a bit like the midnight purple on the R33

Wait . . . you're just gonna leave that one panel wrapped and the rest of the car white?
