Stock NISMO and Test Pipes....

Yea I have to say I think U-bend whether its test pipes or hfcs, prevents any CELs. I have res. test pipes now from GTM and they have a U-bend just like my FI HFC had and haven't had any CELs yet with about 500 miles on them. Never had any with the FI HFCs either. Check out the picks of how long the bends are on my new pipes

All looks great, i just dont wanna spend that much $ on it. Whats the lil u bent pipe that comes out of the side for?

Oh and Jonnydrama your exhaust clip sounded pretty great bud...

the J or u bent pipe coming off is where you screw in the O2 sensor. they will help with CEL's.

I just put NON-resonated test pipes on my Nismo370 last night that has the stock exhaust. These will be proptly removed as soon as I get the resonated pipes I'm about to order. The rasp is crazy on the non reso pipes. The tone is great but the rasp is dumb loud and it almost overpowers the exhaust note now. Hopefully the reso pipes will kill the rasp.

I have sent a message to 370fitment...and they will look into maybe making a resonated midpipe for us Nismo owners. Send them a PM to help "further" the interest levels.

Best solution I found was stock NISMO to rear can, delete rear can...yes, I tried straight can with non-resonated TP's...ear bleeding....
