Test pipes for the 370z with stock exhaust

Anybody have test pipes on stock exhaust ? Would you mind posting a sound clip of your setup? You like it?

YES! Please do!

Im also thinking about this...
Anyone have any idea how it will sound/how it will run!!

Im assuming not much performance gains? If its restricted at the back muffler the fumes might start to creep back up the pipe? :S

But its an option for me.... ANYONE?! HELP!

Not exactly test pipes, but these are my Berk hfc's with the stock exhaust. A little comparo. It should help you a little to see how it sounds. It did make the car quite a bit louder and really comes alive after 4k rpms. Test pipes will probably be a little bit louder and maybe more raspy unless they're resonated. (Sorry for the bluriness at the beginning of each clip haha)

I don't have sound clips, but before I got the Invidia Gemini, I just ran berk test pipes. It wasn't bad at all, just a little raspiness, mostly when cold.

Currently running Art pipes on my stock cat back. It sounds like crap. The tone is deeper and louder than stock but it's rasp city above 3000 rpm. I'm looking into replacing the stock Y-pipe with XYZ pipe and resonator. Hoping to open it up a bit more and reduce the rasp. I miss my Art pipe+Ark DT-S combo

A little hard to find but there are a few on YouTube

Belluga Test pipe with stock Nismo Exhaust

Art pipe on stock

Z1 test pipe on stock

To throw in a good comparison, here is a Ark HFC + stock Nismo vs ARK HFC + ARK Exhaust, same angle same distance in open air

The last video or Ark hfc and DT-S sounds best. That's what I had on before except with the Art pipes.

I just wanted to try something new maybe going with Art pipe+XYZ Y-pipe and resonator while staying with stock exhaust or maybe add a Nismo exhaust.

Here's mine with Top Speed test pipes on stock Nismo exhaust.
No smell what so ever and the power is noticeable in the higher RPM's, lower there's definitely a loss and it's raspy. I'll be swapping it out soon if I decide to keep the car, but more than likely a C7 or AMG will be in its place.

Sounds good. Waiting to finalize my purchase from another member for ARK R Spec test pipe, will be pairing with that stock Nismo.

When you said AMG, I hope it's the new C Class coupe AMG. That thing, imo, is definitely above all completion in its class (from a long time BMW M fan here).

^^^ It would be a SL63 AMG, maybe a 2012-2013.
