Any 2015+ nismo owners regret stillen g3 since you had to cut larger duct holes?

i plan on just doing the k&n drop-ins

maybe Post MAF Tubes for "dress up"

from what i've researched and what others have said.... the stock intakes are efficient enough and draw cold air already.

2 cents.

Wouldn't mind some feedback here on any Nismo Mk2 owners that have fitted them as i have purchased them to go on my 2016 Nismo this month. Is it a bunch of aggro to fit ?

I have a 2011 Nismo with Admin Tuning intakes. Regardless, all 370Zs are the same structurally... It won't be any more difficult to install on your year(s) than it was on any other.

So, beyond the time it takes to remove the bumper, stock intakes and do the cut/fit/cut some more/fit/etc dance, it's a simple install. I don't think anyone will say they regret it unless they were NA then went to FI (i.e spent the money only to replace it with something else later).

The stock intakes are efficient for what they are, but most CAIs will still make power over them.

Z1 intake doesn't require cutting if that part makes you squeamish.

Thanks for the responses. Will be getting the garage who fit my springs and ARK Grip to fit the intakes but just curious to see how bigger job it is to make sure they are realistic on pricing it. Thanks again. Photos in August once i have it.

I'd expect a competent shop to charge 1 - 1.5 hours but would not be surprised to see 2. That being said, if you have any desire to DIY, intakes are a pretty easy (and satisfying) install even with the cutting. (It's just plastic that needs to be trimmed, goes easy with a dremel or oscillating multitool)

Have the G3's on my '11. Had to enlarge the opening where the inlet pipes go through the radiator support. All Z's are about the same on this.

I wish I went with the Greddy/takeda intake vs. Stillen or even the Z1.

Love the sound of the G3s, I am on my fourth 370z install was exactly the same for me on my previous 370zs different model as it was on the 2017 Nismo, no different, other than me babying the bumper more on the 17 Nismo. Oh the DRLs was different, disconnect the plugs to the DRLs other than that simple, you should def DIY this.

No regrets, used a dremel with a grinder, one piece of advice do not remove the protective film on the piping until after install, right before you put or the shop puts the front bumper back on.
