You could try adding a few strips of foam weatherstrip inside (inboard) of the factory weatherstrip in such a way that it won't block any drainage, etc. but will provide

You could try adding a few strips of foam weatherstrip inside (inboard) of the factory weatherstrip in such a way that it won't block any drainage, etc. but will provide additional stiffness to the hatch position.
Mine only rattles on big bumps. I don't like it, but I just remember that the car is sprung stiff as hell and I'm glad it only does it occasionally. |
