Nismo trunk rattle? Here is the fix

Open the trunk and where the two black bump stops from the hatch fit into the little circular spots on the base of the trunk. Place a penny in each

Default Nismo trunk rattle? Here is the fix

Open the trunk and where the two black bump stops from the hatch fit into the little circular spots on the base of the trunk. Place a penny in each slot. Problem solved.

LOL, the Z33 guys did something similar to fix the hatch release issue and to fix this type of issue. Awesome.............

or you can do what i did. remove the panel where the trunk light is, loosen the 2 bolts where the latch are and push the latch down. theres a good 0.25" of play where you can tighten the bolts to the latch. i moved it down as far as i could and now theres no rattle, but the hatch does get stuck slighty more often (ie, you must press the release twice for it to unlock)

Yes, I fix this as well. Still rattled over small bumps. Pennies did the trick for me.

Pennies worked for me too! I will try the long term fix of moving the latch this week.

Thanks!
