Talk to Frank.

There is another place in South Carolina, I believe, that does very well with tuning. Forget the name of it already. CRN? Dunno. I'll find out. I think VABAM might know what I'm talking about.

The place Tigger is talking about is CIN Motorsports in Charlotte, NC. (CIN Motorsports FB Page) Plan on taking mine to them once I have the time and money. Charlotte, NC isn't close but not as far away as GA.

Loved visiting Dubai when I was in the Navy.
One time my ship pulled in for the better part of 2 weeks.
Near the end of that port visit the sandbox was full of broke sailors! :roflpuke2:

I won't be available. :(

Feel like stretching the legs of my Z.
I'm going to drive to Quaker Steak and Lube cruise-in.
Thinking I'll get there around 2pm.

Hey. I'll actually be available this coming Sunday. My flight doesn't land until 9pm on Saturday night. But whatever day is best for y'all just run with it. But if you go for Sunday I can make it!

Darketch 08-03-2014 04:32 PM

I'm game for Sunday.

Jsmith7861 08-03-2014 09:33 PM

Who else? And what time is everyone feeling? I'm thinking 4-5 meet up, cruise, and dinner afterwards. We can go to my place after for a couple drinks and a cigar or 4 if you guys want.

4 is fine, but the earlier the better for me. I need to be home by 7 since I'm a dad lol. Gotta see my kiddos off to be by 8. Want a little bit to hangout with them before bedtime.

Tigger 08-04-2014 06:26 AM

I can do 4pm. But I'll have to go after dinner. Too much **** going on that week I need to prep for.

Running4Mayor 08-04-2014 07:01 AM

I'm down for a sunday run... a good way to cap off the weekend! What yall thinking for dinner? I'll bring my cigars just in case

Running4Mayor 08-04-2014 07:30 AM

Nothing nailed down yet. September is pretty damn busy too. I'm thinking it may push into October. At least the weather is still good there early on.

I'll be taking mine to AAM competition in Maryland as soon as I have the time/funds. Hopefully this winter.

You should come on up to one of our weekly meets when you go to AAM!

Test pipes will open up your exhaust and increase flow = more power and sound. I have never heard of the 3 mods thing. I have 4, no tune, no CELs, no issues, no worries. (Stillen Gen3 CAI, Motordyne M370 manifold, Motordyne ART test pipes, Stillen CBE) Now a tune will get the most out of your mods but no tune shouldn't hurt anything. The ECU with the stock tune will adjust a little to the mods.

Is the m370 manifold worth it? I've debated on that but I'm not sure.

So I'm all set up from Fast Intentions to get RHFC and CF CBX. Very worried about my sound. Considering 18" resonators. I want to be loud and deep, but not like the can o'bees i read a lot about. Thoughts?

Resonated high flow cats? (I'm asking if thats what your abbreviation was)

All I can say is when I had my non-res test pipes and my non-res FI catback, it was LOUD. I absolutely loved it though.

Only reason i went and got HFC's was A) to pass inspection and B) to quiet down since it was my daily.

But now since I have another daily, I'm thinking about going back to test pipes and perhaps z1 headers.

Thanks, that's good to know. I've been living on YouTube trying to pick out my likes and dislikes. I think the resonated HFCs should quiet it down a bit to take the edge off. But I like how deep the 18" resonators sound. I want to be loud cause our last cruise all I could hear was ur car as I was behind u on the run....and it sounded awesome. Thanks for convincing me to spend 3k...not!

If my girl gets mine done I'll have pretty much that same setup. HFC's Z1 Headers, and the catback, along with the SC. Should sound good... (fingers crossed)

Saturdays at 10am. Location alternates weekly between Fairfax, VA and Columbia, MD. The Columbia meet is pretty close to AAM. Just be sure to say in the thread that you'd be attending so we could get a good turnout.

Had my Motordyne ART test pipes on for my last inspection. I have free inspections for life at the dealer I bought my Z from so I took it there. I had the cats on hot standby just in case they made a stink about them but they didn't. Either they didn't notice or they didn't want to waste time/money on failing me. If they had failed me I would have taken my Z to my friends shop to have the cats put back on so the dealer would not have made any money off of failing me. ;)

Now, emissions testing is not done in our area. So if the inspector doesn't hear or smell your test pipes he doesn't know they are there. Unless he looks. Now our area is getting close to having emissions testing. If that happens I'll have to put my cats back on for inspections. :shakes head:
