Did not buy one yet. I was thinking the Schroth clubman 6 pt or G-force Pro Series (5 or 6 pt). Any suggestions? Trying to get something on the cheaper end of the spectrum.

This just my :twocents:

With a harness bar I would only use a Schroth or Takata (same company BTW) 4 point due to their 4 points being the only ones on the market with anti-submarining protection.

Using a 5/6 point without a roll bar is considered dangerous by many people. You could be crushed in a roll over due to the anti-sub strap(s) keeping you in locked in to the seat. With the stock seat belt or a 4 point your body has some where to go in a roll over.

My plans are to wait on harnesses until I have a roll bar.

Are you set on that location? Would anyone be opposed to something in town center? We could all park on the roof of the garage

Do the harnesses double as a 4 pt and a 5 pt harness? If that's the case I would love to go that route so I don't have to upgrade to a 5pt when I finally get a roll bar/cage.

I know Schroth's competition 4 point (SCHROTH RACING PROFI II ASM ) can be converted into a 5/6 point just by adding a sub strap (not sure of Takata). Also the ASM shoulder strap can be replace with a non ASM shoulder strap once you get a roll cage. Also something to consider, Schroth 4 point harnesses are the only DOT approved harnesses. The down side to the Schroth is their harnesses are expensive but IMO harnesses are something you shouldn't skimp on.

Which town center?
I can think of at least 2.

Tigger 07-24-2014 04:29 PM

shoupd park on the rooftop of the hilton hotel onhe oceanfront. Better views. Better food options. Lots of room.

Onelownismo 07-24-2014 05:42 PM

That place sucks. Too crowded. Too busy. Takes minimum of 10 minutes to get a drink and rarely is a table open and when one does open up good luck finding the server.

Jsmith7861 07-24-2014 09:06 PM

VABAM, what was the fb group you were talking about? I'm about to have a hernia over the one I'm in now. If I see one more post about oil preferences, turbos, or "cambergang yo", I'm gonna blow my carotid from blood pressure.

757 Z's

So far no stupid stuff but it was just formed about a week ago.

Darketch 07-24-2014 10:33 PM

Added my pic to 757 Z today. 23 members so far. They said they were having a car show on Saturday in Hampton to support the WWP. My son has divisionals for swimming Saturday. I can't make it, but Tigger keeps bossing me around and telling me I have to go. Something about spreading his reign as Zleader. :stirthepot:

I have a family thing too on Saturday or I would be going to that car show.

Or are we sticking with Red Robin near Chesapeake Square Mall?

I just heard I may have to work Sunday night which means going in at 6pm. :(

It's not official yet though. I will keep ya'll updated. I still prefer town center though.

Running4Mayor 07-26-2014 07:54 AM

We'll how about Quaker Steak and Lube in Newport News? The food is really good and I don't co-sign many places. If not I can still cross the tunnel.

Darketch 07-26-2014 12:48 PM

I would normally show up, but I still haven't gotten my title yet to register my car. DMV is taking their time. Long story. Anyway, yall have fun!

The quaker steak on Jefferson actually has a car meet every Sunday at around 1-2 that me and stealthz got spun up, I'll probably be there then too if anyone is just chilling tomorrow and wants to hang.

Hell ya, the best time to go!
Less people.

My best visit to Busch Gardens was on a gloomy day. It was a week day and It had rained first thing in morning and was threatening to rain again. Me and my brother in law got there right as the park opened. Things were a little damp but drying out fast and the park was empty! We had gone for the roller coasters and racked up over 20 rides before leaving a little after 1pm feeling like we had gotten our money's worth. The Griffon was brand new and there wasn't even a line.

Yeah, today's story lol.

Scared the **** out of people on every ride, while on one ride you go through a tunnel and I screamed "SOMEONE DIED IN THIS TUNNEL LAST YEAR." Girl in front starts freaking out lol.

Another, the Griffin, right before we drop, I say "You know what's scary? There's only 4 bolts holding these chairs in." Que freaked out woman "I DID NOT NEED TO KNOW THAT."

People are so easy to mess with lol.
